  1. I'm playing real money on UB right now (Monday 10:45pm).Locked out of Stars still, though.
  2. The usual SSHE stuff--big pairs, AK, AQ, AJs, etc.I've thought about limping in with the bigger pairs and leading at favorable flops, but knowing how loose these guys play, I'm just asking for trouble. I've slowplayed big pairs when I was in one of the blinds with 5 or 6 callers with some successes.I just hate being pegged as the tight player!
  3. I was playing live 3/6 over the weekend at a mostly passive table. The problem was at one point, that I got absolutely no cards for like 2 hours. I'm talking a nasty run of 7 2, 10 3, Q 4 etc. I folded practically every hand that I wasn't in the blind, and even then I wouild miss the flop by a mile and check/fold.Then one hand, I finally get KK utg, raise, and the table freaks out and everyone folds! Guy next to me says rather loudly "Geez, if you're raising after not playing all this time, we're outta here." as they all folded.I noticed that after that, anytime I was in a hand, limping or ra
  4. Live 3/6 game. Table is pretty loose/passive. Usually 6 or 7 to the flop, 3 or 4 by the river. No real raising unless someone has big pairs, so the players are mostly easy to read.Hero is BB with Kh 5h6 to a flop of Ah 10c 9sSurprisingly, everyone checked.....?Turn: 9hHero bets, 3 folds, LP calls, button raises, hero, LP call.River: 10hHero.....?I bet the turn with the idea that I had a flush draw that I could hit. But the button raise had me thinking I was up against a set. If that was the case, he's got the boat now. I'm thinking check/call?
  5. I have a question regarding my micro limit bankroll:I have built my $100 roll to a whopping $155 since this Jan playing .05/.10 NL mostly. When you all talk about needing 20-25 buy ins for a game before you're supposed to move up to the next limit level, do you mean the min or max buy in for the table? For example, at .05/.10NL, the min is $5 and the is $10 buy in. So to be able to move up to .10/.25 where the min is $10 and the max is $25, do I need to have a $200 or $625 bankroll to play comfortably?
  6. I like the inspirational speech that the professor gives Mike about the choices he made in the past, and if he had to do it all again would he make the same choice.
  7. I deposited $100 on UB yesterday.Due to time constraints, I can usually only play 2 to 4 hours a day. What would be the best way to grind it up to (hopefully) 1k by December:4 tabling .05/.10 LHE2 tabling .25/.50 LHE4 tabling .05/.10 NLHE1$ SnGs?5$ SnGs?And them moving up levels as my bankroll allows. My limit game is stronger than my no limit, and I have the patience to play SnGs at this low level and basically wait for premium hands and then play aggressively, since at that low level I've heard everyone moves in with any ace or pocket pair. Thanks in advance for the suggestions, I'm hoping to
