  1. I've been living life and getting things back on track. Just had a $550 weekend at the 100-max NLHE tables at Turning Stone. How have you been?
  2. Ah yes yes. Everyone is welcome. Come and post away, we will take back OT Forums one post at a time.Norton you crazy wench, how have you been?
  3. Oh you only had 200 more, I missed that part. Was tired last night when I read the post, haha. Push away then! Sucker him right into calling. A guy like him is not going to fold for 200 more when he just put 500 in no matter what he's got, he can't lose that 500 haha..
  4. That's called having a guy hitting his one out on the river. It sucks, but if you can continue to put all of your money in the middle when the other player is drawing to one out in the whole deck, you'll do quite fine in the game of poker.Other than raising and betting more after the flop, there is nothing you can do except keep putting your money in.
  5. I don't mind a call here if you really feel you are good, but why push unless you are holding the ace high flush or the straight flush? If he's got **** he's not going to call, but if hes got any piece of the flush he'll probably look you up here depending on how much you raise it up too. Also trying to bluff him here by pushing and repping a nut-flush if you put him on the flush is too risky IMO with a total fish. Not that you would try that, just speculating.Waiting for a better spot isn't a bad idea either, but if you made a read and had a gut-feeling that you were good then you did nothing
  6. I know the results are already posted, but this was still my first thought:You just sat down for the night, you don't have any reads or any idea of how he plays so why not just throw it away and wait for a better spot?Reguardless of how many rebuys you have.Spots like these are better to put your money in when you have a gut-feeling that you are holding the best hand, not when you have no idea where you are.He wants this pot so bad, let him have it. I don't know about you but i'm picking a better spot than a "maybe i have the best hand maybe i don't" to put my whole stack in the middle.i like
  7. Bet more on the turn, other than that, looks good.
  8. What is your table image like? If you're sitting there quiet only playing a few hands and only showing down good hands, when you limp-reraise you are going to scream AA to even the dumbest of players. Even the people who raise every hand and then limp re-raise scream AA.If they are so raise-happy why not open up with a raise, let one of them do the re-raising for you and hopefully isolate himself making it heads up and smooth call him and move in on a favorable flop?I really dislike limp-reraises from EP with aa, once in a while you get lucky and get some one who's already thrown their whole s
  9. ....just when you thought it was over.
  10. I am posting this thread because I am looking for help in expanding my understanding of WA situations in LHE 6-max tables.I understand that when you flop a hand that is more than likely WA of the person that is betting into you it is good to let them hang themselves with their own rope by letting them bet into you all the way down. My only concern with that is letting them bet into you all the way down, thus letting them give a chance to suck out on you.I am talking about situations where it is heads up on the flop and you have position. When I know I am WA should I be raising to protect my ha
  11. Okay here is the situation:I turn my nut straight, but there is a flush draw on the board. The other person in the hand is a major LAG and a complete suck out retard. The pot is $18 on the turn and I have $28. I go all in because I know he is on the flush draw.He calls. Did I do anything wrong?
  12. No I didn't put him all in, he had an extra 1.85 left. I was wondering if it was spewing calling the extra $2 or if I was commited?
  13. Half their stack for value betting.. that is a GREAT idea at lower level NL and PL games.I was really wondering what was approriate for value most of the time when I have a strong hand and I know they have something they like too. Thanks for throwing that out there.
  14. Hell even at the live games I play at that are .25/.50 stakes continuation bets work great, but there seems to be almost no place for them online.
