  1. The weird thing about Daniels description of the hand is when he says that the kid started going over Daniels possible hands after he saw the 7 as if it surprised him. What was he thinking about before he folded? If he laid down a set of 4s, he HAD to think Daniel had 7-5, QQ, 66 or 88. Which makes me wonder why Daniel showed the 7 at all (its not like when he showed Arieh the Qd to make him think that Daniel was just on a Draw and Arieh laid down the best hand)If Daniel wanted to get the kid off his game or induce future action, why not just show the 78?Obviously the Kid just wasnt thinkin
  2. Don't post here often - but would consider myself and FCPerI won a seat on PS in March so will also represent...will get my pinchers ready for when I win a hand with the Krablar.I think all FCPers who win a seat should have a pre-tourney get together at Edogs.....Daniel?
  3. Gavin's two overbets tell me one thing:He does NOT want another heart to hit the board. He wants Daniel out of the hand or pay dearly for another card. He's either got a set(14 outs against), small flush(7 outs) or 2 pair(19 outs)If you give him a 33% chance of each that gives Daniel effectively 13 outs.If Daniel calls and a heart hits - he just needs a little extra money on the river to make the call correct and be well on his way in the tournament. If he misses he can fold and play comfortably with his stack at the current limits.Ok..Ok I would have probably folded too...but I think this is
  4. Anyone know if they run satellites for the preliminary events at the WSOP like the 3,000 and 5,000 buy ins?
  5. Ohhh...yeah I believe that '4' was the beginning of my downslide that night.Actually I don't even recognize bigslick789...It's amazing how many players play a lot that you don't even notice(I must play that tourney 3-4 times a week). I guess with 1000 each night that can happen. If you're playing tonight - I'll see you there.
  6. Think I've seen you a few times alex.I love the 9:15 10+1. Won it a couple times, a few top 5s.Usually costs me 60 or 70 to play, the way I play in the 1st hour, but it's worth it. You definitely have to start with 3000 chips, and play very LAG for the first hour. I usually just raise a lot, build some big pots and create a loose image so I get paid off when I hit. Nothings more fun than taking down a big pot after calling a big pre-flop raise with 38s. Oh..and if you can get at a table with GilT or omahaha before the break count your lucky stars.I've seen both of them spend 300-400 before
  7. Smash,Any plans to continue the experiment beyond $1000?I play mostly 3/6 and 5/10 and would be very interested to analyze the hands of a winning player at these limits.
  8. Does anyone know if you have to get there early to sign up?Do they limit the number of entrants/is there usually a line?I'm flying in on a Tues night and want to know what time I should show up on Wed.
  9. Anyone know why Boyd was booted?Fichman is also emptyseat88 at PSSomeone saed the HoldemPhil is Phil Laak on PS - anyone know? And if anyone knows the screen name of the guy who w0n the big Sunday tourney on PS two weeks in a row at the end of October it is Carlos Mortenson.
