ByberryChip 0
Born and raised in Philly, I am a huge Flyers fan. However I've been getting the NHL Center Ice package for a few years now and started watching the Maple Leafs. I love their aggressive style play, not to mention all of the fights. Sundin is a great team captain too. He does it all. Everytime the Flyers and Leafs get together it makes for great hockey, especially the playoff series' that these two teams have had together. I can't wait to see these two teams go at it twice in the first month of the season! I will always cheer for the Flyers but it adds some extra excitement when they play the Leafs. MoLeafsMo 0
Yeah, I'm a Leafs fan and I've loved the rivalry between the two teams. Unfortunately for the Leafs though, they just don't match up well with Philly. It doesn't help that Toronto has had to fight through Ottawa to get to Philly the last two years in the playoffs, and it has left them with just not quite enough energy to overcome the Flyers' physical style of play.I think Flyers fans have a lot to be happy about in the near future though. They're in excellent shape even after all the changes. Hell, the new CBA allowed them to buy out Leclair for a decent price. In the old NHL, he'd still be a $10 million dollar underachiever for them. (No disrespect to Leclair, who has been a great player, but he's just too old and banged up to command that kind of salary).I would feel a lot happier being a Flyers fan than a Leafs fan this coming year though. DanielNegreanu 141
Awesome rivalry. I went to a game in Philly years ago where they beat the Leafs 6-4. It was a great game. I talked to Jeremy Roenick about that rivalry and he actually told me he;s a Leaf fan! LOL.
MapleLeafs 142
2 of the funniest Leafs memories in recent times came against those Philadelphia Flyers. Hextall getting his clock cleaned by Felix Potvin was awesome, as was when Domi squirted the fans with the water bottle when he was in the sin bin. And then having them fall on him was absolutely priceless. LOL

Traitor!!!First of all if not for Kapanen, stumbling to the bench that goal never happens, he got smoked. Second, the guy that fell into the penalty box deserved everything Domi gave him.Third I can't stand Tie Domi, he doesn't fight. At all. Ever.Fourth, I am a Flyers fan, and if anyone wants to take their life in their own hands, I will gladly assist you in scoring a ticket to a Flyers, Leafs game. I can't wait till Oct. 5th. MapleLeafs 142
Third I can't stand Tie Domi, he doesn't fight. At all. Ever.Who cares? He sucker punched Ulf Samuelsson! There was nothing sweeter in life than seeing that when it happened. After that he should have had free reign to do whatever he wanted at any time. He should have been a league hero. Unfortunately he used up most of his rope when he gave a cheap shot to Niedermayer.Anyways, Domi's a goal scorer now. Soft hands buddy, soft hands.

Soft hands buddy, soft hands. You know, I will give him credit, he always seems to pick the right time to score a goal. Like when you're trying to come back, he picks up one, and that just sinks my stomach. If you're gonna agitate the other team, how about actually throwing some punches instead of "turtling" whenever someone comes after you. Dream match-up: Domi vs. Brashear => I take Brashear in 30 seconds.Match-up that won't ever happen: Domi vs. Barnaby => Would be slapping, not punchin.

AceJackOffS 0
I talked to Jeremy Roenick about that rivalry and he actually told me he;s a Leaf fan! LOL.daniel do you know jeremy roenick personally? he lives here in scotsdale, AZ. He plays at Casino Arizona, I see him quite frequently. He usually plays 10/20 or 20/40. He's kind of a fish, usually donates to the game witha couple of buy ins and gets drunk then goes to the blackjack table.ps if you are a pro athlete with millions of dollars do you even care that you are a fish?
