For anyone who deals at a casino, do you like your job? Is the pay good enough to live on? What are the pros/cons.I'm young and looking for a job to get by on until I figure out what I want to do with my life and am considering dealing (cards).

I dont deal myself, but my on and off again girlfriend is a blackjack dealer and makes low six figures a year...she works at a casino where the dealers hold their own tip rather than pooling them with other players. That is definitely the way to go if you want to make good money.

No. Women dealers are not pretty. I would have to be ridiculously drunk to hit on any dealer i've seen.

That i soooo not true. There are some good looking dealers out here in AZ. My on and off is hot, so that definitely helps in relation to the tips she get. Still, you will do well anywhere that lets you hold your own tips...just not quite as well as you would if you had big boobs.

They have some hot dealer at Casino Arizona for sure, maybe 3 or 4 max but they are hot. What games you play out there Socko?

I'm not out there too much. I usually play 4-8 and up omaha or the stud games. Im lazy so i play online most of the time. I'm occasionally out at Fort Mcdowell and Gila as well playing hold em. I'm moving back to scottsdale so i will probably be there more often playing the spread limit hold em game. I really need to play more live tourneys as well.
