chessazhole 0
I think it might be that time for me. I was running absolutely aweful the last 4 months of my life and without any goodness and then tonight i was finally doing really well and not getting badly beaten. I then went 1 for 13 on coin flips and had AJ<KK on an AJ2 board, 2 outer here, etc. I think its just not the right time for all that **** to go down so while Ill continue to check out this forum a lot, I dont expect myself to play much more poker.. getarealjob 0
Quitting poker is a symptom of pay check to pay check living, or being relatively broke financially or in life. Broke also includes a life where there are people you care about who don't understand your lifestyle, and prevent you from playing the game you love.Honestly, everyone goes broke a few times in life or in their poker life, otherwise you never really lived, and you spent your whole life with a silver spoon in your mouth. Poker is not for spoiled rich boys, status-oriented wannabes, or get-rich-quick-scheme poseurs. The last thing the degenerate world, who intend to live the rest of their lives this way whether you want to be them or not, is some whiney running bad, out of action, broke, out of luck, unbackable, low borrowing power, unloved poker player with unfulfilled dreams who deem it their cause to let the rest of the degenerates know how much they suck at poker and at life. I suspect that most of the degenez on this forum, whether broke or otherwise are doing well in life; they don't need another quitting poker thread pity case.gg buddy

K-Rock2525 0
I did same thing on monday night. I have a backer who told me to step it up a notch on monday night. Usually im a 20/180, $20, $30, $50 MTT player. So he wanted me to play the 22r, 11r, nightly grand. Had me play in some of the 69+6 at tilts. Ran ungodly horrid, got pissed transfered all my money back into his accounts asked for my cut. Now I'm asking for him to back me again. HAHA! I have to play poker it's a sick illness I have. While true some people quit because they go broke it is not the only reason people quit. You can actually quit while you are ahead - many of these people get tired of the grind or find other things that bring them more enjoyment.
WhatArunAA 0
I swear I just saw a recent thread with you bitching about bad beats...gl if you quit tho.
chessazhole 0
Actually im pretty much financially set so your comment just shows how accurate your smart *** really is. As far as me bitching about bad beats, Ive done it down the street at the bad beat section of the forum a couple of times.
ukwildcat09 0
Honestly, none of us care. Why don't you actually read a few books and try to get better. The longer you play a good solid game, the less variance their will be. I am saying you aren't that good. Continue to stick your money in with the best hand, and good things will happen. If you don't want to play anymore, don't put stupid "I'm quitting" posts in here. We don't care. We would be way more impressed if you posted a brag post 6 months from now about how you got back on your game and beat the small limit games. We don't want to read depressing posts all day.
