I have a pretty good read on this guy... He's a semi-lag player whos not afraid to make a move if he smells weakness. VPIP of 27% and PFR of 22%. One hand I raised with JJ in MP, he put me all-in on the button with A4s and my hand help up. I was thinking on this hand he probably had anywhere from AJ-AK, and 77-AA. not to sure as he only opened up with a raise from early position. So I was thinking I wanted to take a flop and hope for no overcards or hit my unlikely set. then play from therewhen the flop only brings one over card with K out there, I thought my hand was still most likely good. when he bet 40k at me into a 55k pot, it screamed that he wanted to end the hand right there without any more play from me... Now I put him on an underpair to my Jacks or AQ or AJ.So i went with my read and pushed it all-in... what would you have done preflop, flop, etc... Do I really want to get all my chips in preflop with JJ against a big stack and race?

I like calling preflop. If you reraise you pretty much have to call a push if AK is in his range - and AK is definitely in his range given his history. See a flop and reevaluate. On the flop, I like the c/r allin. You get a fold from anything other than AK, AA, KK, and I would expect a continuation bet from almost all of his other possible hands.I think you played it ok.

Thats in the range of bets he makes for information and/or to price out a flush draw.this is a tough hand...stacks sizes and prize structure probably influence how I would play it, from pushing pre-flop to your c/r.
