(even though reads don't mean a whole lot in $4.40's to most people...)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)MP1 (t9053)MP2 (t2940)MP3 (t7610)CO (t12955)Button (t10510)Hero (t12435)BB (t2070)UTG (t4095)UTG+1 (t5480)Preflop: Hero is SB with K , Q . 1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t400, 5 folds, Hero calls t300, BB raises to t2270, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds.Final Pot: t3070Pretty much the same thing, only the BB is pushing, Seems like he could do this w/ about the same range, 44+, A9+ or so (maybe a lil wider since no real strength has been shown)Standard fold? or should I not even complete to a minraise in the SB w/ KQos? simo_8ball 0
I definitely call the initial raise in both instances.I think you should also call the allins. You are getting a good price in both cases.
throwemaway 0
First hand getting ~1.8:1 isn't enough without a read imo..I see this play made w/ so many goofy hands, like 88, AA,AK now I don't even know what to think of it..It's close though with your stack if you feel theres a decent chance hes got a small pairSecond hands almost exactly the same..Getting about 1.7:1, but I think his range is wider..For example, I could see him doing this with AJ but I don't really think the guy in the last hand would..I'd prolly call this one
copernicus 0
The first hand the odds are tempting, but a limp/push against a raiser and a caller screams AA or KK. FoldSecond hand the odds arent quite good enough for the range Id put him on.I think preflop is fine on both.
simo_8ball 0
I think if you add in mid pairs then the odds are there to call the allins. I think your supposed ranges are a little tight. It is close though.
Actuary 3
I could fold KQos to the first min raise. I'm a nit in SB.But that aside...Hand 1: Call, barely. It's a mid pair enough for the 35% you have to win and your stack is healthy.Hand 2: Reluctant call.I don't know if either of these is cut and dry though. And I could see myself donig either depending on factors, like: How are my relative abilities
