Omfg they changed it. I won     Gshhshdhshhshsjejehbs

Scored 154 points and cashed all double ups comfortably. My alternate lineup with Antonio Brown would have scored about 135 and not cashed.   2/2 this year so far

Got a sweat. If the early game in the NFL finishes with no major changes, I win 5K.

there`s always some merit to fading a high-owned guy, especially in hockey (I would think), where production is pretty volatile. As long as you are comfortable that it`s not going to work out most of the time. You can potentially gain a pretty big edge on the field if a 70% owned guy flops and you don`t have him in your lineup.

With that said, I don`t know much about hockey DFS, so take that with a whole shaker of salt.

Forgot to post my week 1 cash game lineup in advance, but here it is/was

QB Andy Dalton

RB Alvin Kamara

RB James Connor

WR Emmanuel Sanders

WR Antonio Brown

WR Keelan Cole

TE Jack Doyle

FLEX Christian Mccaffrey

DEF Ravens

Scored 210 points and cashed everything except for a couple smaller double ups with <50 entrants. Probably my highest scoring cash lineup ever but a really high scoring week so it was only like a 75-80th percentile lineup. I took it easy in week 1. Wish I would have entered it in more lineups. ended up winning about $75 total.

Much tougher week this week with tighter pricing.

Here’s my cash lineup for week 2. If Aaron Rodgers does not play, I will swap Houston D and Randall Cobb for Vikings D and A different WR

QB Ben Roethlisberger $6,900

RB Todd Gurley II $9,200

RB James Connner $6,700

WR Emmanuel Sanders $6,200

WR Randall Cobb $4,600

WR Devin Funchess $4,700

TE George Kittle $3,800

FLEX Tevin Coleman $5,300

DEF Houston $2,600

Really makes me sick to run a cash lineup without Antonio Brown or Alvin Kamara but it’s just tough this week to fit guys in. No free square $4500 James Conner. The success of the week will probably come down to Gurley vs. Kamara. I think they are pretty equal and the tie breaker is Gurley was $300 less and I needed it.

This is the least comfortable I’ve felt with a cash lineup since I started doing this. Feels like I should have Antonio Brown in there but I have to downgrade like 4 positions to make it work so I’m just going to let it ride and pray

So I did end up making a cash lineup for week 3. Feels like cheating to post it after the fact but I was in Seattle all weekend.

QB Patrick mahomes

RB ALvin Kamara

RB Kareem Hunt

WR Tyler Boyd

WR Julio Jones

WR Will Fuller

TE Eric Ebron

FLEX Corey Clement

DST Cowboys

Scored 169.86 and cashed all double ups. I really scaled back the volume for the first 3 weeks. If I wasn't such a wimp, I'd be up huge this year. 3/3 on cashes, but I've only been doing $70-$90 each week.

One of my ongoing fun games is to look at Dubey’s lineup on Saturday, take note of a couple players I’ve barely heard of, and wait for the Sunday alert that one of those players has scored 3 touchdowns

nice work, dave, you’re killing it! Have you checked numbers against higher buyin head to heads to see if you’d be as successful? If so, you should be taking your Shot! I’d pitch in to your bankroll

Yeah if I was more aggressive this year I’d be up loads, because my lineups have been doing outrageously well (80th percentile or higher most weeks when I only need 55th percentile to win)

I want to be careful though because I think this level of success is unsustainable long term. I think I’ve won 15 out of 18 weeks or

Something since I started doing this last year.

I will have to increase stakes soon though, since I play exclusively single entry double ups and there aren’t that many of them so it’s hard to get enough volume unless you go up to $100+ buyins.

What's the rake on those head-to-head matchups?

10%.

I don't play head to heads though. I play exclusively single-entry double ups, where the rake is also 10%. how it works is the top 45% of the field (usually a large field 2k-25k) doubles their money. There are also large field 50/50s when the top 50% win but only 1.9x their money.

the single-entry part is important, since the cash line is usually much higher on the multi-entry double ups, as smart players are putting in the same lineup 20+ times. The only issue I am running into is there are a limited number of these tournaments available. For week 6, I've entered every single entry double up up to $50 buy in, and the total is only about $180. If I want to increase my volume, I have to go up to $100 or $250 buy in events. I haven't researched yet whether it would be better to enter a $100 single-entry, or multiple $5-$20 multi-entry double ups in order to get more volume. I suspect the cash line is still lower for the higher buy-in, single entry double up. for this week, I'm happy with $180 in entries, so I'll probably look into it more closely next week (if I win again)

Another huge score of 196.4 points. I will comfortably cash all the double ups regardless of what happens in the afternoon games. Currently a 99th percentile lineup though that will drop some depending on what Gurley and Zeke do in the afternoon.
