These Canuck threads are really getting out of hand. The team is playing above its natural ability, kinda like the Leafs did to start the season when TSN had them #5 in the power rankings.... it will even out, the Canucks will enter the playoffs the 4/5 seed, and then will lose in 6/7 games the first round, or if they make it to the 2nd round bust out in 5/6 games against a much deeper, more balanced team.

Firstly, the Canucks are unlikely to enter the playoffs in the 4/5 position. It will either be 3rd seed for winning the division or 7/8...the NW division is too hard to stack points.I think many underestimate the Canucks. With a great goalie you only need a few other things happening to win. The Nucks are on fire right now during Naslund's worst scoring drought since he's come to Vancouver. The defense has been plaqued for the first quarter of the season. Look what a healthy blue line has done. What will this team be like when Nassy is playing to his potential?Although not favoured it wouldn't be shocking to see the Nucks go deep. Anybody underestimating them are in for a handful.

I've heard Willie Mitchell is actually up to full-blown gingivitis at this point.

Kesler is gone for the season :club: .He was playing sick over our winning streak.
What?! Did he get hit by a bus during the allstar break or something?

He just had season ending hip surgery.
That sucks...he was solid on the PK unit. I see they've replaced Kesler with Marc Chouinard.Hey, I just realized this game features the return of Marc Crawford!

I have tickets to tonights game. Hopefully missing Kesler doesn't hurt them to much. He had become the teams top penalty killer and was really starting to find his game.I'm willing to bet Crawford gets a standing ovation tonight. I'm looking forard to shouting SOPEL!!! during his inevitable slip in his own end.

Why dont all Canuck fans admit they have LEAFS envy..They are jealous of our city , jealous of our team and most importantly jealous of our FANSLive with it...The Canucks will never be a franchise like the Leafs are...Lets go bring it
