  1. Yea. I think it is a collection agency. I think I am just going to have to search for a way to pay it off. That is my best bet. I am only a college student and I do not want to have to deal with any legal issues. I just read something online and got my hopes up. Thanks.
  2. Like I said, I do not know if I am going to do this. It seems as though it could work but I have no idea. I am not trying to defraud anybody. Just delay the time period in which I have to come up with 2,500 dollars. One thing that I read online was that you know online poker is illegal so they can't do much about it if I close my account. I don't know if that is true.My bank is over drawn but my bank rejects the money e checks is trying to take out because I don't have it. So they send it back to full tilt and I get a 30 dollar charge. I emailed them and they will continue every month to colle
  3. Quick question regarding...QUOTE (serge @ Friday, October 2nd, 2009, 4:09 PM) *If you owe the money to the pokersites...Screw em..I dont think they can report it on your credit bureau..Ivey and Ferguson wont miss the $2500bingo cancel bank acount and open a new one at differant place get job and pay em back when you can afford it and are ready to be a professional poker player again. All except for the ready to become a professional poker player again, is this option viable? To all who have told me to let my father know, I have done that. It was the hardest thing I had to do and although he said
  4. Haha. Of course they don't need it, and either do the pokersites. But they still want the money and there is no way around it.I did call my Dad. It was the toughest thing I have had to do in quite sometime, but like most of you have said I definitely feel a weight off my shoulder. He is going to get me some help, which maybe I need but I feel that this was enough to make me realize how retarded I am. As for how we are going to fix the situation he does not know yet. Thanks all for your kind thoughts. I know I will not be playing poker for a long time. I will come back to poker though, because
  5. Thanks Clark.Trust me I tried that. All I really want is Pstars to stop trying to get the money, but after a million e-mails, all they said is that they will keep collecting the funds once a month. If it is not there, then I get the bank charges and the following month they will try to collect it again. So it is a lose lose situation for me now, unless I come up with the money right away. Trust me, however I get the money I will be working to pay it back and I will be reminded everyday of my life. Thanks for your response.
  6. Thanks man.I have ran good a lot. My problem is I can't stop when ahead. I am a complete screw up. I ran my bankroll up to 6K once. And the next day lost it. Thanks though. You are really supportive and I do not mean to share my life story with you. Just trying to figure out where I went wrong. I know I will gain from this but this is the worse feeling ever. Good luck to you man. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks all for responding. I think once I get the courage, I will call my Dad and let him know. I am currently at school and talk to him every now and then, lying and saying everything is going great. I will try to man up and tell him, but this will not be easy. First off, we come from a very poor background and he will not be able to help me out at all. This sucks. But I do appreciate you all. Thanks.
  8. Yes and no.Like I said, not the smartest kid in the world but I am not looking to be made fun of. I am asking for advice.I went on pstars and made a deposit of 400. I lost it, so I made another. Obviously you can tell, I kept losing and trying to win it back. I just couldn't stop myself. Please, any advice?
  9. I appreciate the response.Pokestars and Fulltilt allow for E-check cashing. In the past I had used it and I was ok to use it because I had the funds in my bank account. So they allow you to make a deposit through e checks, and they credit you with the funds right away.Very dumb of me, I know but now that I am in this situation I have to fix it. I guess it is a lesson learned. A big lesson.
  10. Dear Poker World,I am looking for the best advice and for myself trying to figure out a way to get back on the right road. Let me explain my situation.I am only 20 years old, and since I learned how to play poker a few years back I have been quite addicted to the game. Of course like most people, I had a win here and there and thought I was a good player and could get better. In the last 2-3 weeks I have really, to put it short, screwed myself over for a long time and now I am looking everywhere for the best advice on what I should do. I have put myself 2,500 in debt on pokerstars and fulltilt
  11. Seeings how there was no action on the flop it may seem as though he is weak but I think you have to fold the turn easily.
  12. I recently created a blog and for detail purposes I think it would be cool to be able to convert the hands like I have seen others do. Is there a free site that does this?
  13. I agree with that statement. Obviously you have to be a winning player. And thats what I stated above. I have won constantly, and lost what I won because I decided to risk more money. No joke, I won just about 6000 in 2 days, and the following day I lost it all getting really cocky and jumpling to 100/200 dollar stakes. Not my smartest moment but I lost it all. So I have proven to myself I can win, but just need to be a little smarter.
  14. I don't know if you have already chosen someone yet or not but I am very interested.-age - I am 20 years old and in my second year of school.-a little bit about yourself I am in my second year of school, trying to get a degree in bus - accounting. I enjoy all sports and love playing poker.-a little bit about your poker background including what stakes you are playing and your current bankroll/money you would be willing to put into a poker bankroll/etc. - I have been playing poker for about 2 years and since then I have been that type of player who wins at times but loses due to bad bankroll
  15. You have to fold the flop. But like someone said above, I think you invested way to much with JJ by 3 betting the original raiser. I would just call in that situation, see the flop. But in this spot you have to fold and figure he has AQ or even 2 pair and its not worth it to call that much to hit for the straight.
