that chart that shows winning players plotted on a graph is very interesting..I found the number of actual winners to be pretty high, as it looks like an even split..Am i missing something.

That article stated: "Though playing poker online is considered illegal by the U.S. and Canadian governments, millions of players in both nations routinely risk their cash on the virtual version of the popular card game, ignoring the fact that many of the Web sites are unregulated or loosely regulated and are based in jurisdictions where a player would likely have no legal recourse in the event of wrongdoing."I know it's considered illegal in US - but never heard this about Canada. Is this misprint??

Its not surprising all this cheating. Its software. Therefore, it can be compromised by insiders or hackers. This is just what is known...god only knows how much is really going on and will never be discovered. This is why online poker will never become what it could be.....and why its probably starting to circle the drain a bit. As long as its 'illegal' in the U.S., players that get cheated and screwed don't have any leverage. Everyone should be outraged at this cheating.

Only because 18-25 year olds are the demographic. Too naive to quit or care too much about cheating. Think what you want. Online poker is turning the corner into pro wrestling and reality TV....certainly not there yet.

What? I don't see your point, please expand on it. Are you saying that online poker is going to be like pro wrestling, hot with the college kids for awhile and then declines in popularity after awhile? If you are saying that, which I believe you may be, I don't see how any argument could make less sense. You are comparing apples to...I don't know, a beef sandwich. There is no comparison at all except that both were popular within a certain demographic.

I think he's referring to the '$75 million U.S. claim ($80 million Canadian)' part.
