Fcp Summer 2016 Weight Loss Challenge

I may challenge myself to bike a little more this summer. Including some trips *to* work. I always ride home because it's easier (downhill, generally), and I don't have to deal with the sweat. But I don't see why I can't just bike to work on days I don't have early meetings or whatever. I'm sure work won't give a shit if I sit at my desk in gym shorts and a soaked t-shirt until noon. LOL. I'll need to work up to it a little after my lazy winter (and the planned expansion of BikeShareTO to closer to my work hopefully happens soon). But I should still be able to do it a few times a week.

 

Last year I biked home like 95% of the time. So long as it wasn't raining too hard. Need to build on that.

up to 6k on the treadmill, about 5 times a week. this plus watching what I eat is working well.

Looking forward to being able to run outside now, the only problem is that treadmill in front of tv watching hockey/basketball makes it easier to "pass the time"

I don't have a scale at home but I'm putting on the pounds at the moment. Still walking as much as ever but I've been on pretty high dose Prednisone for the last 8 weeks. When you're on Prednisone you basically are always hungry and just eat and eat and eat.

 

This was what Jerry Lewis looked like when he was on it.

Not sure about you guys but my pants are falling abit down my waist. It maybe only 4.6 lbs but if I do lose weight I have to buy new clothes. Not sure if I want to do that. I got a whole bunch of new golf clothes

Got back from my 5 day golf trip. Lottttta drinking, lotttttta bad food. I'm just going to skip this weigh in and see what I'm at next Monday.

Haha I just got back from a 4 day annual golf trip, so I feel your pain Dubey.

 

I'll weigh in tonight and see how bad the damage is from all the beer and bar food.

 

It was almost 100 degrees out every day we played so I'm hoping that helped to offset the poor diet.

Turns out, you can't just drink for 4 days straight and eat 100% of your meals at either a pub or a golf course with no repercussions. (it was 100% worth it)

While I am down 8 pounds from beginning of this and 12 from my top weight..The diet has been sidetracked..With the pending trip to Toronto and New York and eating my favorite Toronto food..Might be a struggle..
