PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)MP1 (t2610)MP2 (t1915)Hero (t1322)Button (t1852)SB (t1425)BB (t2116)UTG (t1235)UTG+1 (t1025)Preflop: Hero is CO with T :club: , T :D . UTG raises to t60, UTG+1 calls t60, 2 folds, Hero calls t60, Button calls t60, 1 fold, BB raises to t290, UTG calls t230, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to t1322Thought Process:UTG was pretty weak, his minraise didn't really mean anything except he probably had some broadway cards, or a low pair. I call hoping for a reraise from someone in LP or the blinds. The BB has been re-raising preflop w/ very marginal holdings, no matter what position. He has overvalued top pair in a few pots, calling down against a better hand. He got lucky to double up, hitting a runner runner flush against AK w/ K 10 on a K Q 6 board. I put his range on 55+, KQ, A10+...seeing as utg and bb might be sharing cards, along with the fact that the BB will call off a lot of chips w/ a marginal hand, what do you think of this line w/ 1010?Also, what do you think about this play in general?:-simplified:loose EP raises, you call w/ 1010+, AK, hoping to get a reraise from looser LP or blinds, shovel to raise. Obviously the possibility of getting it all in against a higher pair arises... should that be a big problem with this play?

Against LAG's you just have to value your hands a lot higher. However given that, I'd rather re-raise and hope I get shoved against. Although the flat-call works a little better with pairs rather than A-K due to set value.

Lol can we name this play the resqueeze? This is like 5th level thinking haha.UTG raises, two players call BB squeeze reraises because he thinks no one has a very strong hand in front of him, and have merely weakened their calling ranges due to UTGs wide range. You know this is not the case, and know UTG is still calling the squeeze with a very wide range of hands. Therefore you resqueeze the squeezerIt is a very oddly played out hand, and given the raise, you have to decide if you are good / flipping here. I would say you are 100% ahead of UTG, but BB's reraise could be stronger than you are giving him credit for here.Good post, but I think you have to go with your gut and either push or fold.
