Whalers are all in!
Please use the comments to demonstrate your own ignorance, unfamiliarity with empirical data and lack of respect for scientific knowledge. Be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor implied. If you could repeat previously discredited memes or steer the conversation into irrelevant, off topic discussions, it would be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous.

I believe in trying to go for it when you're close, and my plus-minus seems to indicate I am, so.............so be it.

I overpaid for Getzlaf, but the Landeskog-Getzlaf trade talks put me in an awkward position, as both wanted Clague, and only Clague.
I had offered Clague for Landeskog first to Chris, so I had to overpay for Getzlaf to get Ed to accept not being the team to get Clague.

My thoughts: (more for me to read in future than anything else)
Giving up the money isnt too big a deal.
The 2nd will hurt, and Steelheads 4th will also be a nice spot. These sting.
Andersson I am iffy on, could be great, could be nothing. (like any prospect). Im ok with trading him for Getzlaf.

It was a lot to pay, but I will probably resign Getzlaf depending on where he falls on the final resign scale, and he will be used on some short nights for me between now and end of the playoffs, whenever that is for me.

Goddammit! I guess Andersson is a good prospect, but Ed just completely ignored me when I started off discussions by offering a 1st. Would be nice to get some responses.

Now that the playoffs are about to begin, I'm going to bench my highest scoring player this year.
'Cause thats just how we do it in Whaler Land.

Yeah, but I tried that last round and couldn't figure out who you were talking about, so I just skipped that step this time.

Its a secret. Only available to teams in the AHL that know about our main website, our forum and our AHL slack group. If only you were part of those.
