checkymcfold 0
i'm doing this at the request of a bunch of people in gen strat, and because stars was cool enough to make that whole 8-game thing.if a mod wants to merge the "conquering mixed games" thread over here, that would be rad.gl donkeys!i suppose i may as well make myself a challenge, since this is a "challenge" thread, after all:i don't really play on stars much, but wcoop left me with about 300 bucks there, so ima challenge myself to grind it up to at least 6k by the end of the year playing only 8-game. i'll probably devote only about 1 hour a day to this challenge and start at 1/2 (even though this is a bit underrolled, i can move down if i drop to 200 and my winrate should be plenty big enough at 1/2 to have a low ROR). BeaverStyle 1
I'm getting into HORSE MTT's a bit (mostly cuz I took down a $3.30 horse earlier this week) but I really think I have a good feel for all the games, so I'll definitely try to contribute. I'll probably be showing what not to do, initially... Great Idea OP.
grocery_mony 8
I love the 8-game cash tables so far. 1/2 and 2/4 are very beatable if you have a basic understanding of the games.

The players are HORRRRRRID from what i have seen thus far. Unless you run into a bad NL/PLO run, you should be totally fine.I found the players at 2/4 no better in 8 game. And as we all know...I am a FISH compared to you in all these games and I think I have 9/10 winning sessions fo far playing 8 Game. jmbreslin 0
Don't you love when you start a legit thread and the first 6 posts are completely worthless? That's the one reason I was initially reluctant to move the thread over here.In any case, I'm focusing mainly on the $3 8-Game SnGs since they are so soft but I'm experimenting with some cash 2-7 and Stud/Stud-8 to improve my play at those games. So far it's looking like the 8-Game SnGs are going to be great roll builders.
