Ufc = Wwe; Silva Vs Weidman: Total Bs

Recommended Posts

Did you see UFC 162? The Silva vs Weidman "main event"? You know what? After seeing this "match" and thinking about it, as I am new to UFC, as far as I am concerned UFC = WWE; faked, scripted and not at all very believable. We are really expected to believe that:

1) Silva has had twenty seven successes dropping his guard and letting his opponent hit him. Dropping guard and exposing face = you win!

2) Just now, this one time, that failed. Oh, my! Oopsie! Silly me!

3) At a time when he has been talking retirement or semi-retirement he loses his first big title defense match via "drop guard and take punch, fall down and act like knocked out." Silva is not looking at taking a pay cut for that impending retirement, huh? No, Nike keeps lots of yesterday's athletes on the payroll, don't they? Silva would not have any reason to lose and then pump a re-match for all it's worth before he retires. None at all. (I predict that he is lying, he will have a re-match)

4) For this fight, so many in the press said it was a "sure loss" for Silva (Nostradamus, anyone?). Against a 9 time winner who has had only 9 matches. But against better guys with better records, they predicted Silva wins (?!?) Yea, makes perfect sense.

No, this was not a total set up by Silva at the least, now was it? No, no, the match did not have "WWE scripted event for your pleasure" written all over it, did it? Silva would not take a dive to entice a well paying rematch, so he can boost some $$ for that impending retirement, would he? Of course not!

Hey, UFC! Here is an idea, let me help you out; when Silva "refuses" a rematch, you can have Weidman run over Silva's car with a monster truck, or "kidnap" Silva's wife to give him a reason to change his mind. Maybe have Silva rise up from a coffin sent to Weidman's home; "Alright, the mighty Silva, back from the grave, will now accept your challenge!"

TOTAL BS. Any one spends any money on this garbage, let me know. I got some land for sale, cheap. :)

Please stop using sarcastic questions as a narrative device. It is horrible. Also everyone hates you.

Listen, I know you have no life and like to troll my posts (others as well). You are clearly a loser and that's what losers do. I also realize that you and your one or two troll friends "hates" me.

Yet, understand I do not care if you don't like the way I word things, if you hate me, how many times you have been asked by an adult "show us on this doll where Daddy touched you", or if you pay for your internet service by turning tricks with your sister on the corner every Saturday night. I could really care less. I am not even sorry you are this way because your mother refused to stop doing those donkey shows while she was carrying you and it has led to your head getting knocked senseless one time too many while in her womb. I do know you like any attention you can get and that is the real reason you troll my posts. Because you are mentally off and crave attention, even abuse such as this. You will probably whack off while reading this, you sick twisted little freak.

So, stop "being a man" by trolling my posts and worry about eventually hanging yourself out of frustration at your creepy, pathetic life. And for God's sake, turn off your webcam. No one wants to see you;

Have a nice life, if you can call what you have a "life".

This is a good point. You really have to wonder who he's posting for. I get the impression he joined the site, thinking DN actually gave a shit about it, and would respond to his threads and posts, which clearly shows he knew nothing about the site. But, the only feedback he's gotten from his posts is negative feedback, and yet he keeps pushing ahead with his abrasive, horrible style. Does he just like to be "Controversial" with that "in your face" attitude? Does he get off annoying people? It's really quite strange. He has the same kind of terrible humor that Hollywood AFD has, except Hollywood couldn't write a paragraph to save his life, he just littered the forums with his terrible 1 sentence posts. This guy is more like the kind of terrible that was around here in 2007, the obnoxious, painfully unfunny fanboy. I thought this species was extinct.

Again, another troll with nothing to say about the subject, just benign trolling comments. Congrats, you have gotten attention. Go tell all your friends. And please stop telling me how many "negative feedbacks" I have gotten. That is how many judge their worth, like you, clearly. I could really give a crap less. What, do I get a kewpie doll for having my posts loved and admired by all?

Heh, Mpaler. As that gif shows, Silva was clearly unconscious.

regarding the experts: people have been saying for awhile that Weidman was probably the guy best suited to finally defeat Silva. I watched a random non PPV match with Weidman about a year ago and the commentators were saying that this was likely the guy who would eventually dethrone Silva.

In some form, This seems to be your response to anyone that disagrees with you about anything. While we are pointing out things that you should stop doing... you should stop doing that.

if Silva allegedly throwing the fight was all about money wouldn't it have made more sense for him to retain the belt, take the GSP superfight and really cash in?

My first impression after watching Sat. night was the fix was in, but the more I watch the more I think it might have been Silva being Silva and running into somebody with fast enough hands and enough chutzpah not to buy into the Silva myth.

He is at the beginning of a 10 fight contract. There is no retiring. This thread is really stupid.

I actually started to post something close to this to try and reason with the OP, but then I just shook my head and closed the window.

Heard a bit of audio today from an analyst about the whole "throwing the fight" thing. Weidman almost had a heel hook early in the fight, if one wanted to throw a fight, that would be the time.

God, retards.

If Silva was going to throw a fight, it wouldn't be against the fighter who had the MOST FAVORABLE ODDS AGAINST HIM SINCE HE WON THE TITLE AT 2-1.

I'm a pretty huge UFC fan, the 'fix' narrative is incredibly stupid. Longos house trains ****ing nightmares, something that you won't find talked about very much online but was 100% the impetus behind the successful left hook was Weidmans backfist completely ****ing up Andersons timing.

Where Silva is most dangerous is that he's a fighter who knows the fight game incredibly well and can anticipate standard combos with ease. He is playing a dangerous game whenever he does this kind of shit...

SilvaShuffle.gif

... but he does it so well and fighters approach him with such predictable orthodoxy out of their fear of his immense talents that he can antipate with pinhead accuracy what combos are coming and react to them like a cat. It's always been his game.

Serra/Longo is a scary MMA braintrust. Those Italians know how to dissect high level fighters and institute subtle gameplans that exploit huge advantages. It's no coincidence that what are probably considered the two greatest upsets in MMA history (not by odds, but by perception), come from the same strip mall gym in Long Island. Ray Longo and Matt Serra watched a shitload of Silva gametape, figured out that his anticipating standard combos was where he was most dangerous and if you threw him a curveball during a gasp-closing flurry, you just may get an opening.

It worked.
