  1. Ok, here is the exciting conclusion.I’d like to say that I called, or raised, and took it all down. But alas, I folded. With the flush and straight out there, I figured he has made it. I could of called and hoped to pair the board on the river, but it just wasn’t worth the huge raise. Then he showed me, which made it worse. He had A-K, for top 2. I was ahead the whole way. I grabbed my cards out of the muck in disgust and turned them over, much to the gasps of the table. The dealer then rabbit hunted for me, and a 4th club hit the river, giving me the flush.I would of won a huge pot, but in my he
  2. Not for a Klondike bar, but in this hand that came up two nights at the Stardust.I’m under the gun, and look down at 8d-8c. I raised to $15. All fold except for one. Flop comes Ac-Kc-8h. Yowza! I bet out $25, and get called after 30 seconds or so. Turn is 10c, putting the obvious flush out there. I bet out $30, and almost immediately get raised to $130 total.I’ll stop right here, and ask “What would you do?”I’ll add that I had about $400 chips in front of me, and he has just a bit more. He’s playing relatively loose, and already shown two attempts to bluff with ace high, both failing.I’ll fini
  3. Steve Danneman was hanging around, as well. I ran into him over at the bar by the sports book. He's in town a lot. He was playing 3/6 Limit at the Stardust about a month ago with some friends.
  4. I wrote this on another board I frequent:I would of played it MUCH differently than he did. Yeah, he has the idol, but they are still going to get him out of there. He is going to be forced to use it eventually (unless he wins every challenge), and then once it's gone, he's gone the next time.I would of intentionally dropped off the rail, knowing that I would of definately been the target for that night. Get everyone on my team to vote for Shane, and then when the time comes, use the idol to vote him off. That makes the tribes 5-4, and you have 3 more days to put the pressure on someone (Bruce
  5. That seems to be standard there, as I've seen that happen on more than one occasion, the lastest being last night during the 7pm tourny.I'll see if it happens again tonight.
  6. Never mind. I'm up there. Forgot my team name.
  7. Savard has talent, for sure. I used to watch him a lot back when he was a General.I can't stand the guy, though.
  8. I took LA last week, March 11th, in Pool 7, but I'm not listed up there.Odd.
  9. If you don't mind hanging around with a transplanted Canadian, who mostly lurks on this board, hit me up.
  10. Next hand my 1010 vs. AQ.Catches a queen. I'm out.Wow, what a freefall...
  11. Two hands in a row... my QQ vs AK all-in. Lossmy JJ vs QQ, same guy...loss.Bye, bye large stack
  12. Surprisingly, I'm hanging in there. Got lucky on a hand or two...(thanks, Worm!), but I'm pretty happy thus far. I was down to $500 very early.
