in the title I meant read-dependent6 handedMe-165SB-200Dealt QsJs2 folds, Hero raises to 7, Button calls, SB raises to 20, BB folds. Hero calls, Button folds.Okay, so I figured if I called the button would have to call and I would have some ok implied odds. Plus, I love to see flop. Button has been kinda semi-LAG.Flop(pot, 50) Ad Qh 3sSB bets 25, Hero callsAs soon as he makes this bet, I figure he has a high PP and doesnt like that board. Most likely KK. And Ive been very aggressive so i figured I have a better shot to take it away by calling here, than raising. plus, im in position, and figure itll be hard for him to bet again with KK.Turn 7cVillian checks, Hero pushesI am 99% sure he has kings and Im 94% sure he's foldingthoughts/comments

Well, not to give any of you crazy chuckers the means to stack me if you're ever lucky enough to be playing at the same table with me, but I've found that probably 9 out of 10 times the reraise preflop is a big pair and 19 times out of 20, the reraise preflop from the blinds is a big pair.I pretty much represent the ace every flop it hits when my raise with 7-4 offsuit gets reraised preflop.

I was pretty sure he had a big pair PF aswell, maybe AK. But ive been so aggressive that I felt if he had AA/QQ/AK, even AQ(doubt that) that he would check to me. plus it was very weak, only half the pot.

I dont see what shoving does here, other than make it look like you dont want a call. Unless you had been shoving with the nuts and air....seems to me, you may get looked up here more than you think.

I would most likely fold this hand PF, as pretty as it is and as many draws as can be made with this hand, I do not like playing this hand to a reraise PF because I know I have to NAIL the flop in a big way to get paid or win the hand.Jeff

Yea, I'm folding this preflop too. I find myself calling these in shed situations too often and am beginning to think it's a leak in my game.As for the play, Why am I the only one who gets reraise by thte blinds w/ a9? not sure why this can't be an ace, but if that's the table dynamic and the way this player is playing, that means he's straightforward enough to pull this off 100% of the time.

agreed discipline here will save money over the long haul. to me i probably fold here as well but taking a flop isn't horrible. and it took OP until post flop to realize villian had big PP.
