Reraise to 55.You're taking this one to a showdown.edit:You can't fold and if you push he may fold something as strong as KJ.

This board is so draw heavy that I think SS would advocate getting em all in here. I could be wrong. I havent' read it inawhile.
I gotta disagree here.Draws that are correct to call 30 and not 70:two under-clubs with no str8 draw....we've gotta try to keep top pair in there...

Well, we're re-raising for sure. What we're not sure of is what he has, with no read whatsoever. If he was any decent kind of player who paid attention, we're obviously repping an OP, which i'm not so sure he's afraid of.

One reason I don't like betting less is that if we raise to 55, is that we're going to end up taking the turn w/ 1/3 pot and I hate putting money into a pot when i'm drawing dead. Other reason is that OOP, i'm going to play sets and draws in the same way since it doesn't make any sense for me to save that 44 if I have a draw OOP.

i think you know this doesn't make sense given that no reasonable draw calls 30 but folds to 70

good point.and way interesting...it's worth losing the extra money from TPTK if you can possibly gain fold equity in hands down the road...how can you quantify this?

Tough hand here. Villian can be legit, on a draw, or air. I don't like the re-raise on this flop, so I feel strongly towards folding here.

yeah now that i think about it, it's an easy fold. how could he raise the flop with anything less than a set or a made str8? we're way behind.

I think the most likely hand he's got is AJc. in which case it's a coin flip to the showdown. so maybe i'd just see what the turn is and put the heat on if it's a blank. give him worse than 3 to 1 to see the river
well, MOST likely is 8-9 (65%) then AcJc (30%) total bluff(5%)

Maybe you like to play for your whole stack on a pair, but I don't. However, I may be giving villian way too much credit.

I don't see how you can fold an overpair so easily, maybe Raise and then fold to a push but I can't see folding without a read.

make a read.his bet protects nothing. So is he super strong, like 89 and risking you getting a good price on a FD. Since its HU, a FD from you is less likely. If he had JT or another two pair, I'd think he would bet more.JJ/TT raise preflop77 surely doesn't give you 50 : 14 here on the flop.KQ? Q9?I think Ac/Kc + 9c/8c/Xc certainly come to mind As does 88/99 figuring you for a cb here a lot.A lot of players raise 99-77 though 2nd in on the button. So, how about we see how our equity changes on the turn? And push a safe one ?And give up on scary ones.I think $14 is cheap enough to do that here.If he raised more, I'd either push or fold the flop.I see about 20-23 /47 safe cards.Obviously there are a lot more safe cards when we are ahead; but we don't know what draw he has (if he's drawing)I would do this SnG for a safe Turn, or I push nowUnless you have a strong read and feel he's not raisng draws/ worse made hands here.
^^^^^^^^^^^^does that guy have a clew ?

maybe i give my opponents too much credit. but calling a big raise from the BB with someone left to act behind you with 8-9? meh. stranger things have happened i suppose
here not knowing anything about villian, AJ, 1010, JQ? QQ?I would call/Check and See what he does on 4th street depending on what comes... what you're really loooking for is the third K to come off...
