a neteller scam....would it work?

Recommended Posts

For some reason, I have a criminal mind and am always thinking up scams. Not that i would ever do them but I just find it fun. Here's one that I think would work to screw over neteller.Sign up for an account on a publicly used computer, with completely fake information. Sign up with a real bank, just give them a faulty transit # or cheque #, whatever its called, the info they use to get in your bank account. Before they call you for confirmation, call them from a random phone that isn't yours and get the confirmation. They will give you the money even before they realize that they can't retrieve the money from your account. Can anybody see why this wounldn't work, intheory?

They don't do anything until they can call you. I tried (not trying to defraud them) to get them to take care of the confirmation call when I was on the phone with them and they wouldn't let me do it, so I had to wait to transfer my friend a loan.

No, i got impatient waiting for the call, and called them myself, when i was making my own account, and they're were very helpful and did it right there. And i was ready to go.
