hime 0
Nothing gets me angrier than gay bashing, racism, or Bull Horn Christians who think it's their God given right to scold others for what they are doing wrong. People: look within yourselves. Worry about your own walk with God before you cast out judgments on others. Thanks for getting it. I'll probably never join an organized religion, but I appreciate people of various religions who choose to lead by example, not by beating other people over the head with it. DanielNegreanu 141
I am a Christian. The core of that belief for me is all about love. Learning to love even those people you hate. Also, to avoid putting my personal convictions on others.

xtxoxpxd 0
its refreshing to hear daniel's take on religion, cause online you tend to run into the godhatesfags christian side a lot more.
playingtowin 0
Thanks for getting it. I'll probably never join an organized religion, but I appreciate people of various religions who choose to lead by example, not by beating other people over the head with it.As human beings, everyone is free to believe what they choose. Those who simply state that whatever religion they believe in is the "true" one and chastise all other human beings who r not of the same belief only pushes others away and creates more animosity. That's y the U.S. is such a great country and still the best country in the world to be a citizen.
rakethetablemoe 0
Thank's Daniel. Being a Christian who has to deal with the internal and external pressures of enjoying a great game of poker, your comments and views are a refreshing window to an otherwise negative blog arena. I appreciate your views as they are read by many and may break some of the old school "beat sense into them" mentality. Oh yeah - I am southerner. I have been witness way too many times to that brand of religion. Some people form their opinions as children and carry those through to adulthood. May you help adults see that the mind image they have of church or religion is not as negative as they remember.Rakethetable
Trail Boss Mitch 0
One reason many Christians are hated for their behavior is because of their misguided effort to save a life. Many view Christianity as the only way to be saved from this world (including me), and thus become zealous to save others from a life in hell. Many Christians fail to show mercy and love. It's like being on a cruise ship and you see someone drowning. You offer to throw them a rope to bring them back on board, and they spit in your face or say, "Well, another ship will be coming by soon."If there is such a thing as absolute truth (like 2+2=4), then maybe there is only one absolute way to eternal life. Then again, maybe not. I suppose life really is a gamble. So, let's all shuffle up and deal.
