1/2 NL 100 Max buy.A little history first.Early on, there was a flop of:Td-Th-6dMy buddy bet out from the SB. The villain called from the CO. A tight player called from the button.Turn:9dMy buddy checked. Villain checked. Tight player checked.River:AsMy buddy bet 15. Villain made it 40. Tight player folded. My buddy folded T-4 face up. The guy showed JT offsuit.Fast forward. I am raising around 70 percent of the hands preflop. Stack Sizes:Villain - 450.Hero covers.I raise to 6 from EP with ATss. I get my usual allotment of everyone calling. (EDIT: Probably 5 or 6 callers)Flop:Th9h4sHero bets 16. Villain raises from the button to 40. Hero calls. (Yes? No?)Turn:TdHero checks. (Yes? No?) Villain checks.River:JdHero...?Please comment all over the place. This hand plays so much more easily with smaller stacks.

How many calls is everyone? (pot size query) I'd call the flop raise and bet the turn with T3TK against a V that may not continue betting with a good 2nd best hand. Based on the previous HH (I'm assuming V is the same in each) he has played big hands slow in the past, so I'd be less likely to give him credit for a made hand on the turn that has you beat.

Edited to include the number of callers. I don't remember exactly, but it was five or six.

I like betting a bit more on the flop due to texture. Also, so far we've found opponent to be really donkish with a good hand...so I'm wondering if he's an opposite player...slowplaying big stuff and getting aggro with draws. If he's typically going to continue with the aggression on the turn, I like check/raising. If he was making a free card play, we'd obviously prefer to bet.If you put him mostly on a missed draw and think he's apt to bluff, c/r the river. If you think he slowed with the T, b/c it. If you think he's most likely full or straighted, c/c.Personally, I really like b/c here because there are so many ways that J could've hit him...s'gonna be hard to fold if he pops you based on the other hand...but I suppose I go with my read at that point.I think I like this order (though I'm not certain of it): b/c > c/c > c/r > b/f

I would switch c/c and c/r maybe even move c/r to front. Naismith is a lag donk so no way he get credit for trip TK. If he has slowed down in the past but is viewed at lag donk i like the c/r.

I think you have to lead here. Your opponent seems too passive to just hope he will value bet anything less than a 10 here... or try to rep our hand on the river. However, I think he will passively call off chips with semi-strong hands. I think his raising range probably includes hands which beat you and also must 10's. We lose value most of the time by checking against this sort of opponent.Go w/ b/c in the amount of 1/2 - 2/3 pot size-steveps. I just don't see the villain bluffing the river, despite the flop raise, turn check line.

Thanks. With 30+ in the pot and your preflop aggression I'd bet more on this flop.As played I agree with leading the river and calling any reasonable raise.

I definitely thought this was a really tricky spot, so BUMP.
LOL at bumping your own thread after 12 hours.check the flopbet the turnfold the riverdidn't see that coming did you?lol, j/k go with cobalts line. though I might like c/r a tad more too. The only hands your really afraid of is 8h7h/KhQh, cause I think all other made hands bet the turn. I think we have enough to c/r/f.
