I know, this is just a gossip thread ... but who is the "we" mentioned at the end of Daniel's blog today? Who is he traveling with? Who's going with him to visit his aunt?Anyone worth gossiping about? :club: and yes, I am a woman -- not a gay man.

Mushu, obv.sheesh!Daniel, for what it's worth, there is a little village just across the France border called Villefranche-sur-SaƓne, France. Very close to (on the way to) Nice.Sylvi and I were supposed to go when we were there, but never made it. i'm sure you aunt can tell you about it. Sposed to be just the perfect little fishing town. Meh.... or not, LOL!better luck on the rest of the trip man.

What were the blinds when he shoved in the last 26K? Im not sure I see the logic there, even if he had shoved with TT, JJ or 99, DN's in pretty bad shape. As it turned out he was in the worst possible scenario. What gives?

It's okay..nothing really that great. It is France after all.Other than Monaco I never really got the French Riveria. Maybe it's just me.Plus everyone treated me real snooty. Maybe it was my "America saved you once, don't ask again" Tshirt. Or my shoes.

The blinds were 500-1000 and as I said in the blog I put him on a pre-flop bluff so AK beats a lot of his hands. Also, I had already decided, pre-flop that I was going with the AK on virtually any flop. He couldn't fold pre-flop so me hanging on to the 26k pre-flop was a way of possibly getting away on, say, an 8s 9s 10s flop, or possibly bluffing him off of a small pair.

They were all out of those when I was there. And yeah...prolly was your shoes dude. Talk to Mark.

Actual hand analysis in a travel/political forum? Blasphemy!

Alright, after seeing people say "saw what you did there" 83894872 times and not understanding any of them, I'm going to ask this time. What exactly did you see?

It's just seeing that someone has done or said something clever. It's a way of saying, "I get it." In this case, it was answering only the poker-related comment and coolly ducking the OP's question. Could have ignored the whole thread, could have answered both questions, but instead, made a statement without having to say a word. Not many people can pull that off, hence my "saw what you did there."

"Not like it's anyone's business, but I am seeing someone right now, and no, it's not a dude, lol"The San Remo travel companion perhaps? :club:
I wondered that, too. I certainly understand that Daniel wouldn't want to discuss his love life in his blog -- and I respect him for that. I certainly wouldn't discuss my love life on the Internet (if I had one.)... But when he kept saying "we" in his blog, I think he invited the question.
