craziest buy in ever

oh man, i just got done with an unbelievable buy in on pokerstars. sadly i lost the $50 i put in. let me tell you how it went.i get the money in and play some low limit NL holdem until im up to around $110. i start going back and forth between $90 and $130 and then finally i got it to $155. then i started playing at too high of stakes and went on a downward spiral to $2. thats right $2 left. a few bad decisions, a little bad luck and im down to $2. so one night i say what the hell and put the last of my money in a $2 buy in tourny. 1800 people. and because i am quite simply THE MAN, i trippled up on the first hand and was chip leader for a good 4 minutes. i kept playing well and eventually got 13th place out of 1800 people. not bad, but i couldve done better if i hadnt made some critical mistakes down the stretch. anyway i got $30 for that. now thats clutch.i then started playing limit holdem. still, at too high of stakes. i got my roll up to $380. FROM TWO DOLLARS!!! ("what a feat" you say to yourself) but all good things come to an end and i lost a lot of it playing pot limit omaha and limit holdem. i would sit in to a game with 1/3 of my bankroll, that might have been the problem. i was back down to $15. i started playing smart and got it back up to $90. what? another amazing comeback? oh my god. yea then i lost it all for good when i put my whole roll into a NL holdem game and gota bad beat or two. why did i do that? at least i learned something but i just cant resist being a high roller.

Laugh, so did you learn anything from this? Or did you enjoy the process of ups and downs and are gonna deposit another 25-50 to try the whole thing again?50 isn't enough to be "Bankrolled" in really any single thing you did the entire time. Nor is your top amount. But if it's just like extra money and you're just having a good time that's all good and it DOESN'T matter. You just put on another 25-50 some other time.It all depends what you're playing for I guess.If you want to play long-term you need to try to play within a bankroll, but if you're just having fun then you can do whatever you want. Obviously it's just up to you.

hmm why did i put this in the omaha section? oh well, anyway yes i did learn my lesson and i do not play poker in my underwear but i do enjoy Heineken. i did have fun with the money and i got my second royal flush during this buy in so it wasnt a total loss. but next time i am gonna build it up slowly.

after a cash out i once had 61 cents left in my account...played .05/.10 cent game. In a day got up to 18 dollars...put it into a 10 dollar MTT tournament came in 5th and won 250 dollars. 61 cents into 250 dollars in two days

I turned 6 dollars into 251 dollars at pokerrooom.com in a tourney then that same night took it to the 2-4 nl and turned it into 1100 in 6 hours craziest rush of cards i ever had online. the next afternoon I played a live tourney for a seat in the main event I came in third and won airfare and hotel for a week at the Gold Coast during WSOP.
