I've been reading different forms of this rumour for the past couple days, is there any truth to it?"According to wire reports, the FBI has seized the funds from tens of thousands of individual customer accounts from Neteller, a money transfer system popular among online gamblers."

"US Government Seizes Customer Funds Now that we have waded through the excuses issued by NETeller, it has been announced that the US Justice Department has seized funds from the third party payment processor nearly three weeks after the arrests of the company's founders. Only US customers appear to be impacted though Gambling911.com has cautioned anyone living outside the United States to tread carefully in regard to NETeller. Nearly 80% of its customer base was located within the US.USA Today quoted FBI agent Neil Donovan saying "funds from Neteller are being held in court as potential evidence. US customers were being solicited by those in other countries as a means of getting money out. I just sent neteller an email, but this is nuts.edit, you know how when you have a pending withdrawl, you can click "pending" to have it cancelled...well I just noticed that it still says "pending" but I can't click it to cancel the transaction even if I wanted to. lol. except, not funny.- Jordan

Jordan, I called them about this once...they offered to cancel one, but said the other one was already too far along processed. Neither have cleared. Apparently at this point it wouldn't matter if it was canceled or not, unless you used the money buy something legitimate online. I have epassporte now but I'm never keeping funds on that for more than 12 hours.

If more people understood the concept of "constitutional right", this type of thing wouldn't happen and we wouldn't get responses like this.The constitution is NOT an ennumerated list of CITIZEN's rights. It is an ennumerated list of the GOVERNMENT's rights. In other words, if it is not explicitly listed in the constitution, they are not supposed to be doing it. Can you imagine the other way? "I'm sorry, it is not in the consitution that you may wear white socks on a Tuesday, therefore you get 20 years in prison." It's a ridiculous interpretation of the document.The 9th and 10th Amendment make it quite clear how to interpret the Constitution:

Humans have rights by virtue of being free, adult humans. Rights are not the government's to give and take away. Our first and biggest right is the right to be left alone to engage in voluntary consensual transactions between adults. Just because we've accepted such infringements in the past does not make those infringements constitutional. They are cause for alarm and another bit of damage to the philosophy that made this country great. The notion that the government has the right to tell us what we may or may not do in the privacy of our homes is appalling.

It also violates international trade laws. If I go to Amsterdam and smoke weed in a cafe, the US can't arrest the owners of that cafe for providing me weed. Or can they? If they can't, there's no difference if I'm giving my money to people outside the US to play a game on non-US servers.

They can't. It's against universal law fundamentals. Not that American goverment cares but still you know what i mean.Even if you kill someone in Holland and go back to USA , American Courts can't blame or punish you for murder. Because it happened in Holland. That's Dutch Court's job.

Finally an intelligent and well thought post.I agree with you that the Constitution was never intended to be a list of Rights. However neither is it an explicit listing of our Government's to be somehow limited to only the areas that existd when the document was written. Too many Liberterians want to interpret the Constitution as some sort of limited literal document that cannot adapt and be applied to our changing world. By the Government legislating On-Line gambling, they are NOT taking some "Right" away from us. The Internet did not exist in the 1700s, that doesn't mean that the Government doesn't have a right/responsibiity to regulate the commerce taking place on it.
