I get that you're a homer and can't help but act a bit delusional (kind of the way Boston residents act about the Red Sox every single spring), but c'mon now. The same way a good management system (like the Preds or Sabres) can overcome the lost income by not selling out every game (something the Sabres haven't had to worry about lately). The Nashville situation is depressing, but at the same time, hockey isn't really a way of life there. Maybe having a winner will bring the public around, I don't really know.
