  1. A4o isnt the sort of hand you want to possibly play for your entire stack. I happilly give away my big blind in this spot and wait for a better hand where you can be more of a favourite. At the moment you cant really even beat a bluff so even if he is stealing chances are you are still behind.
  2. Yeah this is pretty much how i played it, i checked he bet a little more than pot and i raised a little less than pot. He folded. Which made me think maybe i lost value and if played differently i could have extracted more, especially if i did hit the monster draw card?

Lead the flop, Check raise and get it all in or check call and see a turn? And before anyone says anything about the bad raise PF, i felt the button limp was weak as this player had been raising everytime he was strongis
  4. Yeah my initial reaction was "this guy has AA" which is why i folded. It was only after i started re-analyzing the hand in my head i started doubting my decision, which unfortunately lead me to going against my instincts for the rest of the session making a couple of bad calls.
  5. Well that makes me feel a little better. I did actually fold the hand after almost all my time bank had elapsed. But then after going through it in my head i was thinking why would AA or KK make that play, and i started thinking i made a donkey move and shouldve called. Good to know my first instinct was the right one.

Is this an instacall, im thinking AA & KK doesnt shove here, just makes a small reraise to get action??? Is there any argument fo
  7. Wow you guys are seriously a bunch of tools. I'm having a bad run at the moment, maybe some of it is created by the way i have been playing, so i post up to vent some frustration and i get this shit as replies? If you dont believe me fine, a simple request for some hand histories as back up would suffice, which untill now i wouldve gladly put up for constructive criticism of my play. But now im over it and well if you dont believe me, well thats your choice, i couldnt really care less. Oh and BTW it wasnt all NLH, yes a small percentage of it was Omaha as i have been dabbling in omaha trying t
  8. This last 3-4 weeks has absolutely murdered me, i keep flopping the nuts or a monster and frikkin getting sucked out on whether i play super aggressively or trap.In the last month i have:Flopped the nut straight several times.....lost every single frikkin one.Flopped the nut flush 3 times....lost each time.Flopped quad 2's.......lostTurned quad J's.......lostFlopped quad A's......lostFlopped a set 67 times.....only won 3 of them (some of them were my fault as i tried to get too fancy with my play!)Turned straight flush (bottom end of it).....lostIve played AA 87 times, gotten it all-in PF 42 t
  9. Thanks for the input guys. Next time im shipping PF. I got over it pretty quick and it ended up being one of the best sessions ive had for a while, leaving the table after 3 hrs with just over $150!!!
  10. Well i ended up reluctantly shoving the rest in on the flop, he showed AA. Looking back on it i agree that i should have shipped or folded PF.
  11. Both myself and the villian have only been at this table for about 20 hands. 12. Yeah this was a horrible tourney, i didnt know the blind structure before going in. I went coz i was invited and it was pitched to me as 90 or so newbs.....easy money.......
  13. I played a largish multi table tournament the other night (live) and have a question regarding what the best strategy would have been in this sort of tourney. There was a total field of approx 90 players, mostly donkeys, starting chip stack was 2500 chips. The blinds started at 25/50 and doubled every 10 minutes. There were 8 players per table and no antes. Buy in was $200 with top 8 paid. With the blinds increasing rapidly like this what is the best way to approach from the start? I started playing very tight in the opening blind levels and was watching my table and the tables around me, notic
  14. Yeah thats pretty much what i thought. I considered re raising the turn, not sure why i didnt. I guess this was just one of those pots i was destined to lose!! Villian turns up 4 5 for a better full house.
