I usually play online poker at ultimate bet. I love their interface, but lately I've become to hate it. I guess playing there so long caused me to associate bad beats with their software, although I'm sure that's not the case, I like being superstitiuos about it anyway. Here's the bad beat  . I'm playing a ring game with 10 players. I've been losing all day on my aces kings and hands that seemed unbeatable. I get dealt a J8 in the big blind and 2 players limp in. The flop comes 8-J-J. I'm excited because i think my luck turns around. I check it trying to let the other players catch up, but the player in last position raises 300. We started with 1000 chips so this was a large raise. I re raise to 600 and he pushes in. Obviously I'm excited to call and see his cards, Q8. My mind immediately jumps to how he can win. Running Queens. From hear you know what happened. The turn and river brought to ugly ladies and I was busted out of the third ring game for the day. To say the least, I've switched to pokerstars.

Well, just remember you play far more hands in online poker than you do in live games and this contributes to alot of the 'more bad beats than so and so' stories.... not saying whether or not UB is/isn't a bad beat cess pool or not, but others would surely throw in their favorite bad beat site I'm sure.
