Bad Play/Bad Beat WHY ME?!?!?

Last night at a live tourney at a local bar, I'm playing extremely well but running into huge hands all night. Started with 1k chips, down to 400, back to 1800, down to 500, etc.Blinds are 100/200, I'm on the BB with 675 chips.UTG calls, next player calls, fold to the button who calls, SB calls. 1000 chips in the pot (including my 200), limpers and I look down to A10 suited.It's an automatic all-in, 475 more chips to possibly take down the pot right there (1000), if called I still have a good chance to take down another 475.UTG calls quickly, with 3 people behind him. All three pain their decisions, and all 3 call, the last guy saying "you better have a good hand, limping early and calling immediately with 3 players behind you!"I ask, "you have a pair"? He says "NO", and I think "damn, I'm screwed he called with AK or AQ..."He flops Ace NINE OFFSUIT!I take a release breath, counting how many chips I'm gonna pick up, I say, "Oh, I have you BAD"... A couple other guys say, "no, it's not THAT bad"... I say, "Dude he has THREE outs!"Flop has an Ace. One guy says, "oh now he has more outs" ???!!?!?? Hows that? (this is the quality of play at this tourney and why it hurts so much to get beat by these players).Of course, the turn is the 9. River blank and I'm out.How the hell can A9 offsuit (with about 1000 chips) call UTG in a 10-seated game with 100/200 blinds and several short stacks behind him? How can he then call an all in with A9 offsuit with 3 other callers behind him?BTW one of the folders folded JJ. Had this first guy not called, the JJ would have and I would have had a large chip stack by taking him out.

Well I don't know what the exact flop was but if an ace comes down he has a better chance of the board pairing up and hopfulling having an overcard to his kicker, spilitting the pot. Say the flop is A K Q, any king or queen splits it. Or it could go runner runnier if it was like A 5 Q, anyways it didnt really give him outs but helped his chances for a split pot.

LOL playing at a bar, I expect a guy to call with Ace-rags...And though I complain, I was HOPING he was. My point, though.. is that when I make plays like this KNOWING someone has ace-rags (or at least, knowing they'd call with ace-rags)... I ALWAYS get outdrawn by the 3 outer.I'm not whining, just telling the facts... it NEVER FAILS. At least 80% of the time (no exaggerating!) the dude hits his 3 outer.
