Apparently his decision is going to be written on the ball. The camera is going to zoom in on the ball and the slo-mo image will be shown on the jumbotron and reveal "Toronto Maple Leafs" written on the ball. Then Tavares is going to rip off his shirt on the mound and reveal a Leafs jersey. Some people are claiming that's the real reason the roof is closed today... because Tavares would be too hot wearing a jersey underneath his shirt, but I don't believe that. 2 Link to post Share on other sites

I am not for one second suggesting they should not sign Tavares, but I am curious to watch Dubas do his thing with the cap that year, when Nylander+Marner+Matthews will all be on new contracts, and JT will have a cap of min 10mill, if not 11mill or more Link to post Share on other sites
