HelloI was looking for a poker calculator, I downloaded all possible programs over net, including winholdem and poker android, I did not even use it in any poker site bacause I have no idea how to use it however poker stars send me a email to suspend my account, I had only free version of programs, I never use it. Note; I am a new player my preflop calls like 70%, they think robots play like a fish, I play for fun.My question is where the freaking poker stars get the power the see what is in my computer ? and legally can they check all the players computer without any permision? PokerStars shall be entitled to take such action as it sees fit, including immediately blocking access to the Service, terminating such User's account with PokerStars, seizing all monies held in the User's PokerStars account... PokerStars takes its obligation to the integrity of its games seriously, and cannot permit such programs as WinHoldem to operate. We realize that you probably were unaware of the forbidden nature of this program, and therefore we will not take any of the above stern reactions due to this detection. Instead, all we ask is that you reply to this Email stating that you're now aware of the rule against bots, and that you won't use such programs on PokerStars again in the future. Until we receive such an acknowledgement, we have temporarily suspended your PokerStars account. The account closure isn't intended as punishment nor anything other than to get your attention and to have your acknowledgement of the rules on record. Ercan I think the email you sent was ok, I would send another one for the second program excluding the evasion of privacy part. At least its only a suspension and you will probably get to play again. Since you only play for fun, you could probably just play on a different site if they expel your account.I agree with you for being concerned, since you didn't know that this is isn't allowed. The security can probably just detect that you are using these programs, and are not seeing what else is in your computer. So I wouldn't be concerned, just delete the programs and you should be fine.

When you signed up for Pokerstars you gave them permission to snoop through your PC. End of story. I'm not sure what you are hoping to accomplish by coming here and saying "I broke the rules, I got caught, I don't like being caught, I didn't know they were watching...". You told them they could look around, now live with the result and decide if you ever want to play on Stars again. Their instructions are quite clear.
