  1. dont know what the stacks were and who had position, but is there a chance that gus thought about checking and trapping and want just Hollywooding?
  2. you are getting it wrong, running it twice means losing less and winning less. the math of running it twice says the in the long run your profit will be the same just less swings, so for example after a session of running it twice you more likely to +100k or -100k, insted of +200k or -200k after running it once.but in the end your average profit will be the same, so it makes no difference, and in your example you should push the same amount of draws regardless of how many times you run it.
  3. reducing variance is something that is mainly good for tourneys where its important to do so and remain alive so you can find better edges, in cash game its allot less important. you might want to play a less high varinace style in order to have less major downswings. it got nothing to do with maximize or minimaize profit, that will be the same, and semibluffing isnt more or less profitable if you run it more times. in this hand for example if people would say that semi bluffing is ok but its a high variance play then you might say that ranning it twice makes semibluffing not that high varian
  4. Vtlaxer09 is obv right, justification for a play based on how many times you run it is wrong, you shouldn't factor it at all with your decision on how to play a hand.it can only matter if your bankroll is short and if that's the case then you shouldn't play in that game.
  5. he said 13k more not 18 but i agree, its still bad imo. k9 is fine i think, DrawingDead i dont think anyone can be so much better then the field that he will start passing good situations. only in the start when blinds are very small but not now, you cant just flop sets all the time and "outplay" them, if youre better its because you can make better marginel descision, and he doesnt want to raise to 35 and then fold because the other guy is a maniac and will push alot, and if he folds then hes just letting the maniac outplay him.
  6. didnt see the hand, if it is like you say it is then it seems like a very bad call. daniel always do that, like in wsop when he call the reraise with q10 even though he thought the other guy had aces. its like hes wasting his great poker skills by making bad calls preflop.
  7. the thing i really like about daniel is that he is real, but i dont think its just a cycle or a bad time, i think its clear that as time goes by he is less and less exited about poker in general.i defiantly dont think that he is changing or something for the worse, im sure he is still a cool person as always.its just his feel about poker that changed, hope im wrong but thats my opinion. gl daniel in the ME.
  8. wow you guys are like 22 years old, and you all laughing at 13 years old boy who may have a mental problem and you think that he is the pathetic one?
  9. yeah, probably too early for that, and if he was at early position its defiantly terrible, but if he was late then what should he do, raise to 1000 and then fold when someone reraise when he can easily have just too overcards?, maybe thats better but that doesnt seem great either.
  10. gordon play with k3 seems terrible, the 44 isnt great, but ain't that bad i think, since he is kinda desperate with only 5300.i think antony play the jacks good, qq should probably give it up on the turn.
  11. wow, what a sick bluff, guess he didnt think you can pull off something like that.
  12. actually i think he had toonce he made it 60k he cant fold (even if hes sure he has only 11 outs) you can maybe say that he sould just call on the flop and not raise.
  13. i think that its not a bad play, you make it 60,000 to make him lay down kj or a draw, basicly kq is the only thing that beats him, im gussing there wasnt much of a preflop raising so its unlikely that he has a set of kings or queens, he got unlucky that the other guy had exactly kq but even then he has 40% to win.
  14. yep, really funny blog daniel. i really couldnt tell if Hellmuth is kidding about his blog or not.
  15. we do get it you ment to say jerks but insted you said terrorist, because terrorist are (beside killing people) also jerks its a good comparison, sure...i just dont see how they are jerks, if the show is about voting whoever you want to see, and they are using their right to do so.and like everyone said idol are doing a much worser thing in the auditions, so they shouldnt complain.
