  1. If you are set with rent, bills, etc. Then I would go in this order:1. be willing to drop 100-200 dollars on weekend nights.2. New monitor/cheap video card to multi table. Dell 2001FP.3. New TV +35in and all the things that u need for it(DVD player, maybe surround sound).4. new couch5. all sorts of little digital doohickeys like blackberries, cameras, ipods.
  2. I think postflop was good, but it actually becomes harder when you don't raise pre.Imagine if the flop came KQ5. I bet this guy has A4 or the like, so you should take it down with a continuation bet if u raised pre. Also, you have to remember that limit holdem is all about taking every little tiny equity edge u can get. You are almost undoubtedly ahead her, so it behooves you to get more money in preflop. Also, taking the initiative even OOP is very good here. Assuming he has A4 here, wouldn't it be great to raise with hands like Ax or KT-KQ too. You will take down a lot of flops just thro
  3. he has said that he is not playing super high limit cash games. He is focusing on tournaments, and he has said that it would take a while for him to get back into the cash game mindset.
  4. get your head outta their ass son and realize they suckhahahaha. I will when you:a. Get herpes.b. Show how he moved up from $1-$2 to $300-$600 without backers all while going to school, considering he sucks.c. Show rigorous analysis of a huge amount of hands in which DC got outplayed.
  5. That's the size of the pot, not how much someone wins or loses. At that rate it actually means +-300k per pot. Average pot is probably about 400k in reality so it's really +-200k per pot for each player.
  6. And btw it's silly to say dreamclown got creamed. He and some other guys were taking a shot at that limit and they went down after a week or two of bad cards in probably less than 10k hands. Maybe he was outplayed, but no one loses that quickly without bad variance. Also, i guarantee 99.9% of the people that post about dreamclown getting owned could not beat a 10/20 HULHE game anywhere. Sansone/Dreamclown has been winning at high limit shorthanded or headsup holdem for years. I don't think getting "crushed" is a possibility. Perhaps he could be ground down slowly, but more likely than no
  7. i'm positive it's either bruno fitoussi or fabrice soulier. I think the much more likely candidate is fitoussi, b/c he plays a lot of cash games and a lot of headsup. Soulier usually goes by the handle fabsoul, also. Neverwin made a thread about it, but only gave a few hints.
  8. the corporation should hire guys like joe cassidy, oppenheim, benyamine, erik123, neverwin, madcaddie, etc.
  9. Nick Schulman says that he had been a regular and NYC 300-600 games. He may have gotten lucky to come by all that money, but you have to be fairly solid to make it at 300-600.Also, to Steve7stud: Neverwin thinks Dave is a good player, but he said that he would be willing to play David headsup anytime. I'm pretty sure Neverwin is playing 1k-2k fairly regularly now, so I'm just giving you the heads up for David.

    nwp is crazy

NWP is entertaining. FCP is not. Feel free to continue gossiping about the entertaining forum.
  11. So much bad advice in one hand. I love how you think a call is stronger play. Not only is a raise a general indication of a stronger hand, but it also puts the button in a situation where he is squeezed by the SB. This means that even if he finds a way to call the raise with that hand, then he may have to face another raise of SB. Second, how could he possibly "know" you were stealing? Both of you called a preflop raise and checked to the raiser. Facing a bet and a raise on the turn after this action with this info almost always means that 2 hands that hit the flop were 'checked to the r
  12. There's a big difference between being able to win at higher levels and lower levels, and it is not bankroll.First of all, the real big mistakes stop happening or disappear altogether. You have to try to keep these to a minimum as well. Second, it's about the thought process behind the hand. At a higher level, more thinking and analysis is going on 'behind the scenes' and overall people have a better 'feel' for about where they are at in the hand. The OP has the right idea. ie trying to grasp what is going on in the heads of winning higher limit players that is not going on in his.theredpi
  13. i love how you fanboys actually try to make evaluations on what happened skillwise. The level of skill that DC, eugeneel, and DN isn't even fathomable for 1-2 and 5-10 fishies.
