I went to the public premier at the Palms (not the ORIGINAL premier) and Krantz and Dunst did a short little QnA after.

Really liked the movie. I think it caters to the non-professional poker crowd a ton more...great for others to see what we went through. Thought Danielle Andersen stole the movie.

Thought it was pretty good. I only watched the 1st hour so far but plan to watch the last 40 minutes later. I’m a recreational player (although many years ago, when I lived in Vegas, I did take a stab at playing full time in live games). The film gave me a better feel for the internet poker scene over the last 10 years. Thought the segment on several pros analyzing a hand (with graphics) was excellent. The film also did a good job showing how UIGEA was slipped through by tacking it onto the Port Security bill. If congressional members voted against the bill it was said by some politicians that people would campaign against them for being in favor of terrorism– what a joke.

I’m not sure how the documentary will play with mainstream America. I still think there is a possibility for a successful narrative film which has poker as an important element. That’s why I tried to write one.

All and all I think those involved did a good job on the film and should be congratulated.
