econ_tim 0
some B&M places used to spread hold'em at 9-handed tables. Foxwoods has a few that they use when the place is really small.I don't know why an online place would have 9-max. Game plays virtually the same as 10-handed.
DDiabolical 0
I've never understood the reasoning behind 9 max tables. Doesn't Stars use them exclusively (as opposed to 10 max)?
GamblinLeaf 0
Does anyone know if full ring is 9-max in europe?
Herr Mensch 0
Well,WSOP tables are 9-handed whenever possible, and the final tables officially start that way, though they do pull the last 10 to a single table to play to 9, right? In the original Super/System, DB describes a full tables in NLHE as 9-handed.I guess the proper question is - Why do sites have 10-handed tables? I have zero B&M experience, maybe it's a carryover from that?Mensch
