  1. I think I re-raise flop. Otherwise you are calling down without any idea of where you are at. What do you do if he comes out firing on the river with no idea where you are.Re-pop flop and take control of the hand.
  2. I think we are beat here a lot of the time. I think you could make an argument to call and reassess based on action on the river, but I don't see anything that calls our all in bet on the turn that we beat.
  3. I'm impressed.A brag post and a bad beat post all in one!
  4. Thanks for the quality responses guys.To the guy who suggested this is a fabricated hand history, you are actually close. Its not fabricated, but in this scenario I was the villain and not the hero.Hero actually thought for about 5 minutes before folding A10 face up. I was shocked, shocked that he would lay such a hand down here and wanted to do an experiment to see if I was the only one who saw it that way.For those of you scoring at home, I was holding 78 and looking for a call. I thought my hand was particularly disguised and would almost certainly be called, especially since I had been rat
  5. hero 250UTG+1 200villain 450Hero is in the BB with A 10 UTG+1 Limps, folded around to the villain who is in the CO who raises to 10. Hero Call, UTG+1 CallFlop: 4 6 10 Hero Checks, UTG+1 Checks, villain raises 20. Hero Raises to 40, UTG+1 Folds, Villian Calls.Turn: 2 Hero Checks, villain ChecksRiver: 9 Hero Checks, villain Raises $75, Hero ???
  6. You have a decently strong hand on a non-scary board. Only a set really concerns you here and this doesn't play like a set.Although his physical tells seem strong, his actions smell of weakness. You are about to bet and instead of getting you to put money in, he makes a bet. That sounds like to me he is trying to prevent you from pushing him off the hand, and instead trying to do the same in return. As such, I would call.
  7. Also, I know its being nitpicky, but you have trips and not a set. Sorry just a pet peeve of mine.
  8. Raise. You have controlled this hand off the flop and the turn. If you check I would expect a check behind almost every time.
  9. Your losing value about 100% of the time if you check. You have no reason to think your behind, nor any reason to believe that he will bet if you check. I bet about 1300, Although you could make a case for pushing.
  10. Hey Guys,Thanks for all the replies. In retrospect I think a raise to $120 or $125 is probably more effective as has been suggested. It turns out SB has J 2 so he made the call and MP+1 Folded as expected. Unlikely that SB folds to any amount of pressure with that hand, but I still like my logic behind it.Royal: Not a regular at Rama, closer to Niagara but sick and tired of a $100 buy in limit for a 1-2 game so I'm transitioning to Rama. Just hate the drive.
  11. Instead of making it a popularity contest, why not randomly pick your contestants and make it a SNG for the stake? With that in mind, I'll sign up for the job. Canicount on Stars
  12. I've been sitting at the table for a few hours. I have a definite TAG image, respect around the table for my game play.MP1 is Weak/Tight, He will fold to pressure put against him.BB is a fish of all fish, will call with anythingSB is TAG, I have been watching him play and respect his play of anyone at the table.Stack sizes:MP1: $440HERO (CO): $370SB: $500BB: $400Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 , 7 3 Calls, Hero Calls $2, SB/BB Check/CallFlop: 10 , 8 , 4 SB Bets $15, BB Calls $15, MP1 Calls $15, Hero calls $15Turn: 2 SB Bets $25, BB Calls $25, MP1 Calls $25, Hero Calls $25River: A SB Bets $2
  13. Hey Guys,Just wondering if I made the right decision*EDIT* Forgot to mention 1-2 NLMe: UTG ($450)Villian: Small Blind ($500)Some information before hand, Villian is an extremely tight and solid player. We just finished discussing that he knows what hes doing and wouldn't get out of hand.I was just messing around so i made it $5 blind UTG. It got called 7 ways.8,9,10 flop.Villian bets out $15. I look downa down and see 7,J. So I pump it up to $35.Everyone else folds, Villian callsTurn comes 10. Villian leads out for $25. I made it $70 to try to find out where I am...Villian callsRiver comes a 2
  14. I had heard about this nguyen show on WPT and how bad it was, but I couldn't quite believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.Perfect Perfect 7's to stay a live, this after he dumped all his chips with K-10 after being raised by what could best be described as a tight player. I was amazed.
