fleung22 1 Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 So we've past the halfway mark in the season and I'm wondering how everyone feels about their own team as well as mid-season votes for MVP, winning team, surprises, etc.Current MVP nominations have to go to Nutzbuster, Theraflew, and OolongFCP.Biggest surprise is Daniel's 1-2 record and his Cheap Thieves. That's a lot of solid play coming from him if you ask me. As far as best team in the league...the stats don't show it yet, but Oh You Call, I Call? will have the best record at the end of the season. zimmer4141 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Personally, I give my teammates an A (1-0) and myself a C (4-3) There were 2 matches I should've won but didn't play well enough in. The match against Lost Leader I just had no chance to win the way the cards fell. However, first 4 matches I'd say a D, last 3 I played I'd give myself an A-. Still a lot of playin left, and I don't think anybody's out of it quite yet.Midseason MVP: Nutzbuster. Can't argue with 5-1.Favorite for best record: Team Canada Link to post Share on other sites

After this week he should join me as an "A" playerxx44466xx B-: 1-1, got us much needed win to tie up the division, but needed a huge suckout to do so. Organizational skills bumped him up a bit, as he has been a great captain. I actually feel like I know what is going on with the team, unlike the last team event I played on this site.weakdraw F: 0-1, misunderstood the time of a match and almost cost us a default, then lost his replacement match. Huge letdown from our expectations as a protege finalist and mtt winner. However, he is still a great player and I expect him to have a strong finish to redeem himself. The last two weeks beat teams with one loss to get back in the division.EvilGN (2-0): B+ Played some long matches and has played solid slowly sucking the chips away from opponents.ajs510 (0-2): C- Not really his fault. CobaltBlue has been very surprising and was a great sleeper pickup. ChuckSty has been as consistant and dominating as advertised. I've had a dissapointing season thus far, but with a win in my last outing, things are looking to heat up.CSA is tied for the lead in the Doyle Brunson division and holds the tiebreaker over Demented Avengers.
