  2. Hey everyone, I know this might sound dumb, but im tired of getting spanked around playing online, i really cant seem to get anything going. Playing live in tournaments and cash games i seem to do well, winning a couple tourneys and generally not going broke (i have a live game bankroll) in the cash games. For some reason i cant seem to do well online.Since i know that online play is so popular and much more conveniant id love to get some help is using it to make me a better player. Im wondering if there is anyone out there who is willing to kind of mentor me and maybe help me rewire my game.

  4. I would think you made the best decision, like acid knight said, if there is a higher flush your down to 3 outs.i go with my gut a lot coz i feel you can think yourself to death. sometimes you make the wrong read, sometimes your right on, but as long as you feel you made the best decision possible at that time, your good to go
  5. I dont think its wrong play, you have second pair, your four to a flush and as long as you dont run into someone else holding Ks Xs your a favorite to hit the flush and take itI play worse online than live. weird.
  6. Hey dude, good luck, my high pairs got spanked in round 1 and two, it sucked!!
  7. If i was going to limp in with KK, when the flop brought the heart draw id make a big raise on top of his. If he is drawing to the flush make him pay for it, otherwise, your asking to be taken to the cleanersid never limp with KK but im a bad player who's paranoid and would rather win a little pot than lose a big part of my stack....
  8. Itd be a hard fold, but situation 2 is a bit easier to let go of. even if your up against AK your gonna see one of those two over cards on the flop about 20% of the time
  9. [qoute]Aint that one of the sickest thing ever? That about sums it up, wow
  10. I think you made the right move, the only thing that would have made me hesitant would have been the two spades on board. Regardless he wasnt going to fold with KKA6 he had a gutshot straight and the spade flush draw as well as the overpair, it was inevitable that he would call
  11. Multi posting is prolly frowned upon, but i work from home, and this is my way of improving slow as hell nights. So i was looking for some people to try and meet up with and play online with. the best way to get better is to play more and i thought it might be a good idea to play with and get to know some of you from the forum, and then maybe ya'll could help me not suck ass.so let me know when your usually on, what limits you play, what site and your name and maybe we can play some cards.try not to throw stones at me
  12. your right, i do get a bit scared with AA, but i should have mention that where i play, the action is very very VERY loose. it is extremely rare to sit and watch 10 hands and not see 6 of them see raises (usually around 15 dollars) pre-flop happen. I know that raise pre flop is absolutely retarded, and id never do it with any other group of sane players. I do have trouble folding AA (something i am working very hard to fix) so i think that this play is something ive temporarily developed to remedy that, but i am gonna take what you said into consideration. thanks!!!
  13. I read a forum post by roberts2003 and he was getting kinda chewed up for playing AA and limp raising with it. i decided to post this to get a little feedback, and some help, because i am no pro, and could use the help.I dont play much online coz i get too distracted LOL but i do play live as much as i can. In a 1/2 live game (last week) i raised 10 dollars (12 total) and got two callers (this scared me a little ) the flop came 10,8,2 rainbow, i wanted everyone out of the pot so i raised big (75 dollars). Now most of the guys at this table i play with, and they know that im generally a prett
