dt1313 0
First post in here...Please excuse the lack of proper format...Hero - Ks Kd ($ 350) UTGVillain - x x ($ 220) MP2Villain2 - x x ($ 250) ButtonPreflop - Hero bets $16, folds to Villian1 in MP2 (Call), folds to Villain 2 on the Button (Call) --- (Pot Size $51)Flop:3s 7h JsHero bets $45, V1 (Calls), V2 (Folds) --- ($141)Turn:AsHero Checks (I wanted to re-evaluate after he bet/just plain see what he'd do), Villain (Insta pushes for $159) ......and then he starts talking just as he had been doing most every hand he was in. After asking him what he could be playing I get him to start talking waaaaayyyyyy too much. He's loudly stating "I've got the nuts"...You don't want to call"...Lay it down"..."Don't worry I'll show you no matter what". Just from his projected strength I was sensing weakness but I wasn't positive. He had shown down a turned nut straight after getting pretty loud as well. I asked him what hand he could have been playing...No answer...Then I said "You've really got the nuts ? (Obviously the nuts haven't hit without my hand but he doesn't know I know that)...I said to him you've got the King of Spades ?....His reply..."I've got the Nuts..."I've got the King of Spades"...Now, I was pretty much calling before the King of Spades comment but after that it's truly a no brainer. I kept him talking just to see what else he would say, for about 5-10 more seconds, then I called. The look on his face as I called was priceless. He really thought he was pushing me off of pretty much anything there... Hero calls...Villain turns over 6h 7dRiver:5sHero makes nut flushI wanted to post this for a couple reasons mostly because I wanted to Thank the Forum (especially Acid Knight)...A week or so before this hand took place people had brought up an old thread in which talking during a hand was a focus....Acid Knights post stuck in my mind and really helped with my read....THANKS ACID !!!...Also I posted becuase i've never posted in the Strategy Forum and have wanted to for a while...-Dan

Acid_Knight 2
I can tell I'm already gonna catch so much shit from this... :)Not a ton of strat to discuss here. I like the way that you played the hand. With the money already in the pot though, I probably just bet/call the turn. If the guy keeps his mouth shut, you probably wind up folding a hand that was in a dominating position. Yeah, you'll run into AJ or a flush here, but you'll always have outs. The times that you are beaten will be outweighed by the times that someone calls you with QsJx or something silly like that. Also, I guess it worked out here becuase you got him to bluff. Nothing better than them telling you that they have the cards that are in your hand. fistpumpinstacalllol!

Royal_Tour 0
nice hand, you have 350, you must have been at the table fr a few rotations. that being said you should have a read on every player by now and should make your call so much easier. even if he didnt talk
dt1313 0
Thanks for the replies guys...Madkennedy...The game wasn't incredibly loose but it was becoming more and more LAG in previous hour or so (maybe a little less)...gfdsa...I thought it was a great question ...Acid...Thanks for the input...Also, again thanks for the post discussing people talking to much in that other thread...Royal...I had a very solid read on the table but this guy had only say down about 10 hands previous to this one...I would say he was in at least 7 of them and took down 3 or 4 pots....The big one being a turned straight that he was talking and projecting strength the whole way......Sorry for the lack of Strategy...Dan
