  1. I noticed that the big DN never seemed to be around this site or the poker room when I signed on last year. His tips, except for the reruns of his CardPlayer column are all old as are his question of the day. Questions are always answered by members but never Daniel. I wrote customer service several times and got run around answeres. Finally I asked them directly if he had just sold FCP his name and reprint rights to stuff he writes for other markets, but isn't really involved in the site at all. I never received another response from them. I emailed several times, and know they went through,
  2. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have been stacked 3x in 2 days. All 3 times I had the best hand early, raised and bet aggressively, was called and chased by extremely weak holdings (Q7o?) that sucked out.Maybe I'm just running bad, but 4 years is a long time to be unlucky. I just played my last hand online. Incidentally, at all 3 tables the players doing the best were playing nearly every hand, and catching cards 50% of the time.If DN ever actually logs on here again, say hey for me.
  3. I've been playing poker for many years but there is nowhere close by to play so if I am going to play regularly it has to be online. I do keep book in live play and have been winning.I use PokerOffice to try to anylize my online play. I read forums such as this, 2+2 and CardPlayer. I read CardPlayer. I read SSHE twice before changing to NL. I have read HOH I & II twice each and III once. I've also read Super Systm, Ace on the River, Making the Final Table, Killer Poker Online, NLHE (McAvoy), and every book Sklansky ever wrote.I have had winning sessions and gone very deep in some MTT, but
  4. RIGHT! That is my point and my question. If I have to raise to 8 or 10 times the bb to thin the field down to 2 or 3 players - how do I play small ball at that table? Do I not even try at a table like this? Is there some way to keep the pots small at a table like this?
  5. Small ball, and all of this other theory may be fine when your opponents are skilled players, but DN has noted, and written about the difficulty of playing against beginners. So what are those of us who are stuck, for financial reasons, at the .50/$1 tables or below supposed to do? Small raises down there do not thin the field at all. It's only another buck, what the heck. So you see the flop with six or seven donkeys, one of whom will likely outdraw you. Every low level table also has several Gus wannabes who go all in with every pair, draw or naked ace. You can't fold to this garbage every t
  6. The reason you CLAIM to be a winning player is because you know there is no way to disprove it so you pretend to be what you are not. The winning players are the ones actually playing poker. The phoney wannabes are the ones making 9,000 posts and trying to play some role, since they can't play. An actual winning player would have been able to discuss the issue of poker site integrity without resorting to persnal attacks. An actual winning player would not be so threatened by the question that they could not even admit the possibility that they are wrong.I hear that the widow of a Nigerian dipl
  7. WOW. That makes you better thn Daniel or any other pro. None of them claims to have ALWAYS been a winning player. They all say they lost at first but stuck it out and improved. You must be the greatest poker player who ever lived. Then again, ALL on-line players are big winners. I've never seen anyone admit that they lose. Maybe thats my problem since I win some and lose some, my losses are financing the entire industry.Thank you all for confirming my suspicion that there is no arguement to refute the belief that the sites could be cheating.
  8. I said that I will admit that it is possible I am wrong. No one has offered anything but unsupported opinions to dispute what I have offered as ONE POSSIBILITY. The stubborn ones are the people who just want to attack me personally. They are so emotionally invested in their self image as "players" that anything threatening that must be silenced. Please "explain " to me why it is impossible for a poker site to influence the outcome of the games to favor weaker players. I already know that no one believes it is happening. Now tell me why it can not be happening. As for "informed" players, are y
  9. ROFLMAO.First, every person who ever posted is a winning player. I never met a loser. In fact there are no losers. Everybody is an internet pro bringing down six figures playing part time just like you. Your honesty is so refreshing.Second, since you know I am lying and know you have played more hands, and have 100% indisputable proof that the sites do not cheat, please give us your PROOF. Not your immature, uninformed, uneducated opinion. Proof. Start with my play. How many hands have I booked at Foxwoods? How many at Mohegan Sun? How many on PokerStars and Party? Exactly what records do I ke
  10. There is a third possibility - but admitting it will require more intellectual honesty than most internet pro wannabes will be able to muster. Why are B&M casinos regulated so tightly if there is no incentive for casino operators to cheat?I know - they make so much without cheating - why risk it. And CEOs of big corporations make big salaries already so no one would risk cheating on option trading, right?Keeping the poor players alive keeps the tables full, attracting more business to the site. Keeping good players from accumulating too much money reduces withdrawls therefore keeping more m
  11. Here is an example of what I am talking about. Maybe this will help.Player 1 (not me): vpip 27%, aggressive (raises, reraises, steals more then calling/limping) fills open str8s and flush draws 15% of the time with 2 cards to come.Player 2: vpip 90%, hyper-aggressive, fills same draws 50% over same 2 year period on same site. That is not explained by head trauma's lack of faith in my ability.
  12. What does this have to do with a 9 handsd ring game?
  13. BTW, I'm talking full tables - not short handed.
  14. That is probably it. I and the 20+ other true TAGs I tracked are all having a simultaneous 4 year streak of bad luck. Or, more likely, I don't know anything about poker, am just a very bad player having a 30 year lucky streak at live casino games. Those are the only possibilities after all, right?
  15. While playing well is certainly a requirement in live games, and I suppose in high buy in online games as well (though I can't speak from personal experience there), it is no benefit at all in low limit or buy in games online. In fact, I would go so far as to say that playing well is a handicap in these games. I am talking about SNG and MTT under $50 and NLHE ring games below $3/$6. The successful player there is invariably seeing 70-80% of the flops, going all in on draws or with small pairs, and calling raises with any draw. In a live game these are dream opponents. Online these are big winn
