  1. I put him on any pocket pair, and figured there was a decent chance he would have 4bet QQ+ pre. I also thought he could have a hand like KJ, AJ, JT and a few other hands. He snapped off some other guy's 3bet with 9To earlier, so I figured he had quite a calling range.
  2. 3. Well, I was thinking (incorrectly I suppose) that he would be more likely to make some weird raise there with a random ace or something. I got a bit more than I bargained for, though
  4. I was playing only 4 tables last night, and was completely running over all of them, and had a few people on multiple tables, like the villain in this first hand. 5. Speaking of sweat sessions, what times are you generally online?
  6. What do I do against people donking out against me? I mean, even when I have a hand like top pair, it's not a spot I'm necessarily happy with unless he has a history of doing it, and it seems to happen quite often. I mean, obviously you deal with them in different ways depending on the situation, but when I'm at a new table and some guy is just donking into me, how should I see it in a vacuum?
  7. Lolwut. Are you referring to Marleau dropping the gloves and Bieksa fighting back?
  8. I didn't show any hands, I always muck. Weird :/Anyways thanks for the advice
  9. Hmm, you're right, totally same situation.I'm not comfortable cause I'm not sure if its a bad thing to do or not. I'm uncomfortable due to uncertainty, which is why I'm posting it. That is why we're here, isn't it? Well, at least why most of us here, I suppose some are here to criticize and belittle others.
  10. Pretty sure you're wrong because I always post hands like this to a few friends, I just haven't posted on FCP lately. I am totally uncomfortable playing 3bet pots with TP Jack or Queen Kicker because I have no idea what to do with them. If he bet and I called and he had some random hand, I would wonder if I should have bet the turn instead if it were a hand I could get some value from.So please, answer the question instead of criticizing something that not only doesn't matter, but you're not even right about.
  11. Hope you guys don't mind if I use HEM hand histories since I don't know how to convert those to FCP, and I don't want to go through my HHs to find every hand.Folding to Check RaisesAlthough I have been check raised by hands like QTo on a Queen or Ten high flop, against a relatively solid opponent (or passive fish), I almost always fold anything less than 2pair/sets to check raises, unless I'm against a maniachttp://www.holdemmanager.netNL Holdem $0.25(BB) Poker Stars Game#62475832530poleno2011 ($11.52)joshil3 ($25)ehunt36 ($25)Nomnom79 ($12.38)Hero ($25)Serega011976 ($25)poleno2011 posts (SB)

  13. I give him a ton of credit for being a competent player. Hes the only reg that I hate playing against cause I think he belongs at higher stakes than 20NL. Against a fishier/more passive player, I wouldn't be checking trying to induce a bluff. Thanks for the input
  14. Yeah, I definitely call with too many suited connectors preflop and that's something I need to work on, but you think bet/folding the river is better than check calling?
