  1. Reading various posts I often see people spit out odds in percentages to the hundredth in terms of which hand is favoured pre-flop, or "what if's" looking at possible hands your opponent might have.As I find it hard to believe that these odds are being calculated by hand, and they're often refered to as "simulations", I was wondering what program people use to generate these numbers.Thanks for your time!

I was reading the post on counting outs that Jason started and I came accross his brief reference to abbreviated notes on players: This looks like it would very useful and I was wondering if there is a standard way that people take their notes, or if its just a personal preference.Also is there maybe a guide to taking good notes on opponents somewhere?Thanks
