Steve,I'll be there from June 1-6. I'll buy you a beer or two (this didn't work on wtro either, he always points out that drinks are free at the tables...but eh).And when I win Event #3 we'll have to do dinner.Looking forward to meeting a few new FCP's and catching up with the S7S crew in a few weeks.Ron.

Staying at the RIO. Won a 2k seat on FTP a month or so ago. I've got about 10 guys from KC going, my girlfriend and my Dad.Should be fun stuff, wish I could golf with you guys but I don't think they like 4 wheels on the greens ;-).Ron.

I won't be there but I some suggestions for you. I used to be on a forum where there would be occaisional conventions and other things, similar to poker tourneys, that people from the boards would go to. Pick a signal, (carry a rose in a copy of War and Peace - - or maybe just wear an FCP hat, I suppose - kinda pedestrian) anyway, pick a signal and then a spot, like a simple coffee shop near the action, and people can, start cruising through there when they get to town. You'll probably end up with a table in the corner manned almost 24/7 by some part of the crew. A specific spot in the casino works also, people just walking by, taking a look to see who's around. This way, everyone has a chance to cross paths with everyone else, but you don't have to worry about some schedule or who does or doesn't play golf, or give out personal numbers when you haven't even met the dude yet. Some guy I met on the 'net once said, "I could be a 400 pound bouncer in a biker bar for all you know." (He was s tudent at MIT, but you get the point. They could just be a dweeb in life.)Must be plenty of posters around here who live in or know Vegas well and can suggest a likely spot or two. Anyway, worked for our group, about 400 people that came and went from various events at different times, the meets flexible, the spot the same, the signal easy to identify.

I think a good idea would be to try to do one get together a week. Like every Monday or something. I'll be there from the 7th on.
Very good idea.Mark

I actually think 11 has a decent idea here as it relates to daily path crossing at the Rio itself. There can/will obv. be other plans made to meet folks in the evenings for drinks or what not, but I'm talking about a way to spot folks during the events.I guess the best idea would be to wear an FCP shirt or hat. That's how most of us bumped into each other last year. For those SWAG challenged types, just look for 7-jeans and red and black back packs! :club:

:club: Or, heres an idea....everyone print out a color copy of your avatar on 8-1/2 x 11, tape it to the end of a yard stick and walk around waving the stick in the air. That should do it. B)

I'll be the overweight Jew-y looking guy with glasses and a baseball hat. Good luck picking me out of the 2000 of us there.
Question: Why do folks LOVE Kosher Milk Duds?Answer: ...cause they're JEW-Y! :club:
