I have some advice for the men out there...Don't ask a woman playing at your table if this is the first time she's played; it's not. This is incredibly condesending. Don't try and explain to us how to play; we know. And if you happen to run across a woman who does not know how to play as well as you, teach her by simply outplaying her.
