Cappy37 0
Jim Bechtel plays that high? I never knew... I just remember him from the *only* non-Stu Ungar old WSOP telecast that ESPN Classic actually airs.. I think it was 1993, it was the year Dick Van Dyke greeted the viewers by jumping out of a limo and grabbing a skinny game-show-host mic at the onset.Bechtel beat Glenn Cozen (sp?) after him and Miami John Cernuto got into a monster pot with Cozen as the 3rd place short stack. Was great viewing. Sometimes I actually long for the days where the hole cards weren't shown, makes following along more honest with the "what does player XXXX have here?" aspect. But at a sportsbar, following it without volume would be positively brutal, so meh.
