  1. 10c/20c home game. $20-$50 buy-in, 8 handed. 6 handed for the mentioned hand. Fairly friendly but competent players. Social alcohol present, nobody's spewey drunk (yet). All players in their 20s, most with families and have stable but not great paying jobs. No pros at the table. Not too much bluffing or aggression for that matter. The table usually doesn't take into account how much is in the pot, so I see myself going to the river the most and "drawing out" because the pot-odds are there due to the comparitively small bet. No 3 bets post-flop for the entire night, again. The game isn't hav
  2. Thanks for the replies. Results wise, I made a crying call mostly due to pot size. First villian had for nut straight, V2 had for third nut flush. I had 7 outs so 16.7% to hit, not getting enough odds. But then I bink the river with a and rake the biggest pot of the night. Both of them rebought and tilted for the rest of the night which should have made my night even more profitable, but they were stupid-aggro against each other that I really couldn't find any more decent spots to hang on so I kinda stayed out of their way.donk, ya I think I told them that I was gonna start posting her
  3. I would donk bet both. So the strat here would change greatly if you were against multiple players. In general I consider 99 in heads up close to a premium hand, likely going to the river unless facing significant action and/or a lot of overcards. In both situations, you improve your hand significantly with the flop. With 9x on a board. This is all my math, it might be off a bit but you'll get the pointChances that villian floppedstraight flush (1/47*1/46) = 0.0005%flush (9/47*8/46) = 3.33%,straight (4/47*4/46+4/47*2/46+2/47*4/46) = 1.48%set (3/47*2/46)*3 = 0.83%two pair (3/47*3/46)*3 = 1
  4. I was gonna do a PAHWM at 2+2, but here goes. Never posted on these forums, so I don't know the jargon or math that well. I had no idea what the (x/y/z) numbers were besides the first "vpip" so this is new to me. Feel free to help there as well.10c/20c home game. $20-$50 buy-in, 6 handed. 5 handed for the mentioned hand. Fairly friendly but competent players. 5. OP, define "tricky asian" a bit better please. How bass-ackwards is his thinking? Is he a winning player due to aggression? luck? not? How often would he bluff here? How big of a raise is $12? I'm assuming a 1-2 game, is 6x about the standard open? bigger/smaller? previous opens by table/villan would help.48 pre, I think pre-flop, flop and turn are fine, river decision is up for debate right? 98 in there, he bets 50. What beats you?: KK, QQ, 99, 55, K9, Q9, 95I'm not sure how much "tricky" plays into this, but I'm eliminating KK, Q9 and 95 from consideration largely if they were stra
