Both of these villains are aggro- They have both been raising a ton of hands.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)SB ($27.50)Hero ($24.65)UTG ($25)MP ($57.45)Button ($35.65)Preflop: Hero is BB with ac.gif, qc.gif. 2 folds, Button raises to $0.85, SB raises to $3.1, Hero calls $2.75, Button folds.Flop: ($6.95) 7c.gif, ad.gif, kc.gif(2 players)SB bets $4.65, Hero raises to $21.65 (All-In), SB folds.I almost folded pre-flop. Not sure what to do there. When the flop comes, I figure I have to go for, yes? I was going to bet around the pot (instead of shoving) but it left me with an awkward amount left if he just flat called (like $4 or 5ish) so I just shove. Was that a mistake? Did I lose value there? Thanks.

I don't hate preflop because the SB is often stealing and you have a strong enough hand to get in there with them. If they haven't been out of line, I'd usually consider folding preflop. On the flop, WTF dude? You likely have the best hand AND definitely have the best draw. I'd flat call that a lot and if I did raise, I'd minraise or something. You're just scaring away your only customer.

I don't mind the call there pre flop at all. yes you could be against a better hand, but you have to have some gamble sometimes.post flop: the only hand you're going to get a call from by pushing is a set, or AK.don't think you got the value out of that hand that you could have, I definately believe you had the best of it, by far[x] imo

Yup, your options were a smaller 3 bet, shove, or call - and a smaller 3 bet doesn't do anything a shove doesn't. So, it's really call or shove. As said, the hands that call a 3 bet on the flop here have you in a bit (but not a lot) of trouble and if you call the flop you can get another bet from him and give him a chance to get wild with a king. I guess you could minraise but I never really consider it a possibility and to some a minraise looks as strong as any other 3 bet.

OK, guys, as I said in a previous post, thanks so much for critiquing my play. I have made soooo much more money after posting on here daily. Here's what I was thinking in this hand (based on some critiques of previous post [obv no two hands are going to be exactly the same]):1. If I have a huge hand, I am never flat calling. I just don't do it any more. I raise always. When I flat call, I get drawn out on.2. If I am going to raise, I don't leave an awkward bet amount after. That is why I pushed.Help me figure out why this hand is different from the previous ones.Thanks.

The bolded part means that I'm not getting my cut since I haven't seen a dime from you.1. What is going to draw out on you? You have position, TPTK and the NFD. Pots that are 3-bet preflop and called are a different animal. You really need to flat call here because otherwise he can't do anything out of line with a hand worse than yours. When you shove the flop you give him 2 options: Fold all hands that can't beat AQ or call with ones that can. Neither of those options is one that you want him to be able to choose between.2. Awkward bet amounts don't really matter in spots like this. You're not gonna get drawn out on here like, well, basically never. You're either absolutely crushing him or you're drawing to a flush. The minraise is good here because it looks like you can still fold and he can choose to call with a lot of weaker hands. Also, seriously. You owe me $$. Think of something fair and then mail me a check :club: I'm thinking 14% of the net profits over the last 2 months. That sounds good.
