play online same name different computers

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if me and a buddy can play at the same time under the same name on full contact? I know that on sites like party poker you get kicked out, but I heard it works for full contact... is this true?I posted in the FCP forum but it seems anyone who lurks around there is asleep(or playing)

You can, but obviously not at the same table.I have multiple computers, so sometimes I switch from the laptop to the desktop and the tables just automatically close once you open them on the desktop.

If you have a router that is NAT'd (which you d0) then not at the same table....the poker room will see two computers coming through your routers public IP address. I think dropping on computer in your routers DMZ would work....I know that using broad band for one and for the other using dail up would work at the same table also.

i've never heard of this approach, but i'm pretty sure that they take the mac address off your router, correct? so hypothetically it would work if you ran one straight to the cable modem and one through the router, right?
