I have been playing tournaments online for a while I seem to get only so far then the blinds just chew away at me.What I am wondering is how many times more in chips should you have at each level?Example:Level 1 – 10/20 with a starting stack of $1500.00 chips. This is 75 times the big blind.I should also mention that the blind levels increase every 12 minutes. Thanks

you dont need a set amount at any level except the basic knowledge of knowing when you need to be making steals, or pushes to double up.harrington on holdem is your friend. order it and read it.
Didn't think I'd ever see a thread that was about to be derailed just to have Royal come in and give good advice :club:

ignore these fukas. try to keep it at the same level you start with... anything plus will be a bonus. for example, u start with bb bein 20. and u have 1500 chips, thats 75 bb. try to keep it 75 plus as the blinds go up.

Look at the average chipstack to get an idea of where you should be, HOH is good also as someone else said, as you get more tournament experience you'll get a better sense of how to play larger and smaller stacks.zedd, I hope you were either joking or have never played a tournament.
